50 math shapes, one song. Each shape plays its own notes based on how far the dot is from the center, and together they make music. by @methodmath_visual

Start at 27. Halve it if it's even, triple it and add 1 if it's odd. Each number plays a note. It climbs all the way to 9,232 before falling back to 1, and no one has ever proved this happens for every number. by @methodmath_visual

Tesla's new Roadster hung upside down at the top of a ramp that curves past vertical. Real or fake? Physics says it's possible, as long as its fans pull harder than gravity. Simulated with real physics, from the climb to the thruster landing. by @methodmath_visual

This whole song is one function: 150 sine waves added together. Round it to the nearest note at every moment and it sings Happy Birthday. by @methodmath_visual

Multiply each number by the golden ratio, keep the whole part, and you get a riff that never quite repeats. On this road every lane is an instrument: the 808, the hi-hats, the clap and the golden-ratio melody, with snares piling up before the drop. by @methodmath_visual

2 circles make a blob. 6 make something close. 50 draw a perfect heart. Every circle is a real term of the Fourier series of the heart's outline, spinning at its own speed. by @methodmath_visual

Take the Fibonacci numbers and keep only the remainder after dividing by 3. The pattern repeats every 8 numbers and becomes a melody. Prime numbers place the percussion, skipping every other note builds the chords, and a halving series makes the stutter. by @methodmath_visual

Powers of 2 loop every three notes because 2³ = 8 = 7 + 1. That loop became the hook of this Jersey Club beat, with a bouncing kick, the famous squeak written as a straight line, and a triplet roll. by @methodmath_visual

Square every number and keep only the remainder after dividing by 7. The result is a melody that mirrors itself, because (−n)² = n². Add an 808, a clap, and a build-up made with x², and you have a beat made only from math. by @methodmath_visual

Each pendulum plays one note as it swings through the middle. They start together, drift into chaos, and exactly 64 seconds later every one of them is back in line. by @methodmath_visual

An amapiano beat made only from math. The log drum hits where floor(q/φ²) steps up, so the golden ratio sets the groove. Every note is A times a simple fraction, which is why the chords and the melody agree so well. The melody is the digits of e, and e repeats 1828 1828, so the melody repeats too. The build-up climbs the harmonic series, every overtone of a single note, before the drop. by @methodmath_visual

A Brazilian phonk beat made only from math. One floor function spreads 5 kicks over 16 slots and gives the bossa nova rhythm. The cowbell follows the Thue–Morse sequence, which never repeats the same block three times in a row. The sign of a sine makes the 808 jump an octave. The build-up is a car passing at 144 km/h: the Doppler effect drops the pitch as it goes by. Then everything drops together. by @methodmath_visual
