Mahalo to everyone who joined us for our October Metro HBR Breakfast & Learn! We loved seeing everyone come together for a morning of learning, networking, and Halloween fun. Thank you to those who embraced the spirit of the season with your festive colors, accessories, and costumes! A special mahalo to our featured speaker, Sue Savio, the “Queen of Hawai‘i Condo Association Insurance,” for sharing her expertise on the good, bad, and ugly of 2026 insurance changes. Her insights into rates, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, maintenance fees, and claims gave us valuable perspective on the challenges affecting condominium insurance across Hawai‘i and what these changes may mean for our clients and transactions. We’re grateful to everyone who continues to make Metro HBR such a welcoming, engaged, and supportive community. These monthly gatherings are about more than education—they’re about building relationships, sharing knowledge, and helping one another navigate an ever-changing industry. Mahalo for being part of our Metro ‘Ohana! We look forward to seeing you at our next gathering on NOVEMBER 4TH. Until then, wishing you a happy Halloween and a season filled with success, connection, and just the right amount of spooky fun! đŸŽƒđŸ‘» Mahalo to our sponsors: Main: Old Republic Exchange @jbratton1031 Coffee: Keihatsu Wealth Management @richardparkiii Lei: Title Guaranty Hawaii @tg_hawaii Open House flyers: USA Mortgage Hawaii @usamortgagehawaii by @metroregionalgroup

Class was officially back in session at Metro! Thank you to everyone who joined us for a great turnout at our August meeting with our featured speaker, Brad Konishi, CPA, founder of HARPTA Help LLC. @harptahelpllc Brad shared practical tax strategies that we as REALTORS¼ can use in our everyday business, including the two methods of automobile deductions, home office deductions, and ways to be more thoughtful about legitimate business expenses. It was a great reminder that understanding what we can deduct and planning throughout the year can make a real difference in how much of our income we keep. Mahalo to Brad for sharing his knowledge and to all of you who showed up ready to learn and connect. A special mahalo to our sponsors, American Savings Bank @asbhawaii and POHA School of Real Estate @pohaschoolofrealestate, for their generous support and for helping make our Metro meetings possible. And to @tg_hawaii for the beautiful lei. The best professionals never stop learning, and that’s what Metro is all about! See you September 9!
