Hi! I’m Ali and I’m on a mission to help women navigate the pregnancy and postpartum season of life as it relates to movement!

When becoming pregnant with my son Caden, I realized that there is not nearly enough information available to women about movement during this amazing season of life (and a lot of what is out there is outdated). Because of this, I dove head first into learning all things pregnancy and postpartum becoming certified as a Pre and Postnatal Coach. This, in conjunction with being a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Health Coach help me to best serve this unique population I am so passionate about.

I provide custom workout programs and coaching for women who are pregnant, postpartum and beyond. Women deserve a movement routine catered to their unique physiology.

I am so excited to share more with you and will keep pushing to bridge the gap between exercise and the pregnancy/postpartum season.

If a program is promising you that you’ll bounce back after having a baby that program is not for you. Your body is amazing and grew a human for 9 months 😍. Why do so many people think moms need to “bounce back” right after birth??

Reality check ➡️ It took you nine months to grow a baby. Giving birth is a huge deal and puts a lot of strain on the human body. Healing and building back takes time which is why I developed my Return to Movement and Return to Fitness programs. Each program walks you through the early postpartum period to reconnect and rebuild your foundation as you grow in this new season of life. Whether you’re looking to keep up with your kids or get back into competing- you have to master the basics first.

Slow is fast in the postpartum season. And it takes consistent focus on multiple lifestyle factors to heal.

But one thing I know for sure? You are capable and can do this mama. I’m rooting for you 💜👊🏻

Now tell me- do you feel confident returning to exercise after having kids?

Are you a busy mom who doesn’t have a lot of time to workout? No problem!

Tabatas are a great way to get in a short yet effective workout. Choose 3-4 movements and set your timer for 8 rounds of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest.

Some movement > No movement

Get after it and let me know how it goes!
👊🏻💜

💕
Addie Mae made quite the entrance last week after work. I was able to finish my work day and stay home through early labor. Labor progressed quickly and we arrived at the hospital fully dilated to our surprise and 20 minutes later she was in our arms.
💕
I’ve always dreamed of an unmedicated birth and that dream came true last week. I prepped throughout my pregnancy for this goal but was also open to alternative birth plans if needed.

Hi there 👋

I’ve been MIA a bit on here during this pregnancy and it just hit me the other day that we are officially in the home stretch to meeting this sweet girl.

TBH I’ve been terrified to have a little girl. I struggled for years with an eating disorder, perfectionism and body image issues. But I feel like I’ve been chosen to be this sweet girl’s mama for a reason and I promise to show her what unconditional love and self care are. Is her life going to be perfect? No. But I am confident that I will be with her every step of the way and show her what it means to be a strong woman and how to fill her cup so that she can always be there for others🤍

I’ve been hard at work developing programs for women during the pregnancy and postpartum seasons. I’m excited to share the updates from my previous programs with you and keep helping strong mamas take care of themselves so they can be there for their families.

Not sure where to start? DM me a 🌻 and I’d love to help!

The 1st trimester was a roller coaster🎢.
My workouts were not consistent and I took the time to listen to my body and sleep in when I felt tired and focus on mobility. Workouts were a blend of CrossFit, peloton, yoga, and body building style movements. Some days I was able to Rx the workout at the gym and others I scaled. It’s been an adventure so far and I can’t wait to take you along my exercise progressions as my pregnancy continues 💙🩷

We are so excited to be expecting another little one this summer 🏖️ ☀️

There is a lot of misinformation out there about what we can do during pregnancy 🤰🏻 and such an emphasis on what to stay away from. Follow along to learn about all we CAN do during this season of life (it’s a lot more than you think 🤩)

From being told we would never be able to have kids with my eating disorder history and now expecting our second little one we are in awe and amazed that all the human body can do to heal
💜👊🏻

Ps: @nerdscandy jelly beans have been a life saver for morning sickness. Now tell me- what was your go to for morning sickness??

We live in such an all or nothing world and it is unsustainable. One of the most important things I learned during this pivotal year in my life is to embrace this and in an all or nothing world.

We can be brave AND afraid.

We can be stubbornly independent AND still need support

We can love so fiercely AND still need our space

We can feel broken AND still find joy

We can be both driven AND overwhelmed

We can be kind AND still have boundaries

We can love so deeply AND still find time to care for ourselves.

Whatever season of life you are in, take a step back and realize that we simply cannot do it all. Find the things that bring you joy, challenge you and help you grow.

I see you and am rooting for you 💜👊🏻

Picture this 📷 💭

You’re a full time working mom and would dream of sleeping through the night.

Hey girl I see you! 🙋🏼‍♀️

Now I realize you can’t control how often your little one wakes up, but you do have control over your sleep hygiene habits.

Try implementing these strategies into your day and let me know if they help your quality of sleep!

1. Hydration helps regulate your core temperature and magnesium has numerous benefits including reduced stress/anxiety and improved sleep. 💧

2. I do some form of mobility every day to optimize range of motion and keep pain away. Even 5-10 minutes makes a huge difference.

3. Going to bed and waking at the same time benefits cardiovascular health and longevity ⏰

4. I try to avoid screens at least 60 minutes before bed and wear blue light blocking glasses during the evening. Blue light suppresses the secretion of melatonin. 👓

5. Breath work and meditation throughout the day reduces stress and anxiety. I spend 5-10 minutes in the morning and before bed on breath work. Guided meditations are great if this is something new for you. 🧘🏼‍♀️

6. Sleeping in a cool room helps you fall asleep faster and stay asleep. Aim for somewhere between 60-68 degrees. We stick to 65 degrees our house.

I love that I can track each of these habits using my @whoop and see the impact they have on my day to day recovery.

Share this with a busy mama who could use a great night sleep 💜

Is it just me or does society make it feel like once you become a mom you are doomed to pee whenever you cough, jump or sneeze for the rest of your life?? 🤦🏼‍♀️

I can promise you that this is not true! 💃

Return to impact postpartum should be a progression of increased load and impact (Shout out graded exposure and progressive overload)

A gradual and consistent return to movement early in the postpartum period can set you up for major success. And guess what? You don’t have to wait until 6 weeks postpartum to start. 🎉

If you are a mom who is ready to prioritize your health in 2024 DM me “Jump In”.

And tell me, what is your favorite part of being a mom?? Let me know in the comments ⤵️

Clap twice if this is you 👏🏻 👏🏻

If so, I see you mama 💜

My little one is 19 months and I still feel like I’m learning how to navigate this “new mom” season of life.

A little back story- Fitness is my passion and was such a HUGE part of my life before becoming mom. Like working out six days a week and training to be compete. 🏋🏻‍♀️

Life changes in the most amazing ways when you become a mom but there’s also this sense of identity loss as your life now revolves around new (and precious) priorities.

It’s okay to love being a mom AND miss who you were before baby arrived.

And just because you are a mom now does not mean you need to completely let that old part of you go.

What if you could be an amazing mom AND still find time to prioritize your health and wellness?

What if you could fit in 3 workouts a week and stop justifying eating your kid’s leftovers as a meal?

I promise that you can.

If you are ready to make yourself a priority again in 2024 comment “I’m in” and I’ll share my top 3 tips for balancing busy mom life and a healthy lifestyle.

I’m rooting for you 💜👊🏻
