🎀 PINK OCTOBER: KNOW YOUR BREASTS, KNOW YOUR BODY! 💗

Your breasts deserve your attention, not your fear.

This Pink October, let’s talk about breast health and the importance of recognizing changes early. Knowing how your breasts normally look and feel can help you notice something unusual and seek medical attention promptly.

✨ Look for changes in size, shape and skin.
✨ Feel for new lumps or thickening.
✨ Pay attention to changes in your nipples.
✨ Seek medical advice if you notice anything unusual.

Remember, finding a lump does not automatically mean you have breast cancer. But ignoring a change can delay diagnosis.

💗 Save this post for future reference.
💗 Share it with the women in your life.
💗 Encourage someone you love to prioritize her health.

Let’s make breast health conversations normal, accessible and stigma-free.

As October ends, here are snapshots from World Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
This year it was a bit heavy and different because it was very personal. It’s not just a pink ribbon…..It’s strength, it’s hard decisions and life after.

For the fighters, survivors and the angels we lost we remember you beyond October. 💕

To everyone else …. please check. Early screening saves lives. Have that conversation, book that check-up, remind your sister, your mother, your friend.

SARATANI YA MATITI SI MWISHO WA MAISHA, INATIBIKA
•
✍🏿 Na Mtawala Edison.
•

Sometimes, we underestimate the little opportunities because they don't look like the big things we're praying and working for.

Recently, I had the opportunity to work as an usher at a conference. I went there to play my part, be professional, and help make the event a success. But experiences like this remind me that there's always something to learn when you're willing to show up.

I'm learning that growth isn't always about being the speaker, the leader, or the most experienced person in the room. Sometimes, it's about being willing to serve, observe, learn, connect, and do your part well.

I'm still growing. Still exploring. Still figuring things out. And honestly, I think there's something beautiful about that.

So, if you're a young person trying to find your footing, looking for opportunities, or wondering whether your small beginnings will ever lead to something bigger, I hope this reminds you that you don't have to have everything figured out to begin.

Start where you are. Take the opportunity. Learn what you can. Give it your best.

You never know what today's small step might mean to the person you're becoming. 🤍

We're all starting somewhere 🎯
