Going into this race, my goal was simple: I wanted to PR. I wasn’t trying to place, I wasn’t thinking about coming in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd—I just wanted to beat my own time. So when I found out I got 3rd place in my age group, I was honestly SHOCKED. Like… wait, ME?! 😭🏅

And on top of that, this was probably one of the cutest races I’ve done. Between all the sparkles, the girly details, the bling, and getting to really lean into the whole diva vibe, it reminded me of a part of myself I feel like I’ve been putting on the back burner.

I’ve been working out so much and putting so much focus into my health, getting stronger, running faster, and becoming a better version of myself. This race reminded me that I’m still that girl. I can be strong, sweaty, competitive, chase PRs, lift heavy, AND still love getting cute and being a little extra. 😂🎀✨

Turns out the best part of the running journey isn’t always the finish line… it’s the people you meet along the way. 🥹🏃‍♀️❤️

Yesterday was SO much fun. A 5K, a new PR, new faces, new friends, an On shoe demo, and so many laughs in between. 👟✨

28:32. 9:11 pace. FASTEST 5K EVER. 🥹🔥

I started this running chapter just wanting to see what I was capable of… and somehow I’m finding a whole community along the way. 🫶🏼

Grateful for every mile, every PR, every sore muscle 😂 and especially the people making this journey so much more fun.

New PR. New friends. Same girl, just running a little faster. 🏃‍♀️💨✨
