New video by me about Yuliya’s clothing drop @21.12.nyc and her story behind it.

She creates something personal yet relatable, defining the meaning of “love” and finding her very own “Another Love”. taken in New York, New York by @mezigrel

Meet my friend Josef Machalík, someone I happened to meet at a bar in Prague in 2025.

We brainstormed about a banknote torn in half (a good conversation starter, as it turned out). Then I saw him using a dumb phone and a separate iPod for listening to music. To this day, he doesn’t use Instagram and will only see this video if I send it to him privately.

He told me about his experiments with food, flavors, and fermentation, and I got his Instagram. I thought he was the right person to make a video about - the kind of videos I used to make in the past: interviewing people and making short movies about them (that’s how I like to call them).

The footage I shot with Josef has been sitting on my hard drive for about a year, until now, when it’s finally time for you to see this story about my beloved Czech friend.

In his case, it doesn’t really matter whether it’s kombucha, a pie of proper sourdough pizza, oatmeal with weird fermented eggs, or a skid on his fixed-gear bike - it’s all about pure enjoyment, exploration, and a little creative chaos. About a love for nature, simple things, and reconnecting with nature through exploration and learning new ways to interact with it. taken in Prague, Czech Republic by @mezigrel

For this campaign with twin sisters @twincitymusic we chose to highlight contrast, giving a chance to find yourself in one character, the other, or somewhere in between.

What separates us can also unite us.
