Soy Michelle Fernández arquitecta y fundadora de MF Architecture, originaria de Guadalajara, egresada de la ESARQ(Escuela superior de arquitectura), con más de 6 años de experiencia en el diseño y desarrollo de proyectos en la costa de Nayarit.

Mi trayectoria profesional en despachos como 3Arquitectura, Acosta y Asociados y TerraMar Architecture me permitió consolidar un estilo que combina lo tropical y contemporáneo siempre con una visión simple pero funcional.

Mi enfoque aprovecha los recursos del entorno —la luz natural, las corrientes del viento y la vegetación— para crear proyectos que trascienden lo estético y se convierten en experiencias.

Nintai Hotel boutique.

📍Located at La Peñita de Jaltemba, Nay.

This project began with a clear premise: to give new life to what already existed.

Our client approached us with the idea of transforming an existing structure into an intimate boutique hotel featuring four suites, a swimming pool, a communal dining area, and a rooftop with a jacuzzi, while making the most of the existing structure and its original elements.

From there, we developed a proposal focused on optimizing every space, improving functionality, and creating a hospitality experience where architecture, light, vegetation, and natural materials come together in harmony with the surrounding environment.

Rather than starting from scratch, the project was about observing, transforming, and making the most of what was already there—preserving what held value, intervening where necessary, and creating new spaces that give the property its own identity and character.

The result is an intimate and understated retreat, designed to embrace its surroundings and experience architecture at a slower pace. taken in Peñita De Jaltemba, Nayarit, Mexico by @mf.architecturee

Cada proyecto representa una oportunidad para crear espacios que respondan a la forma de vivir de quienes los habitan.

El cliente buscaba que su hogar se pudiera experimentar donde el exterior y el interior se vivieran como uno solo permitiendo que cada área se conectara de forma natural con el entorno y vistas al mar.

In this project, the contrast of materials engages in a dialogue that creates depth, character, and balance. The lattice screens not only add aesthetic identity, but also allow controlled natural light and promote ventilation, resulting in fresh, bright, and functional spaces.

Casa GJ 2026 - Lo de Marcos, Nayarit.

En 270 m², el proyecto resuelve un programa integral que prioriza la accesibilidad, la conexión entre espacios y la calidad de vida: una recámara principal adaptada, áreas sociales abiertas que se extienden hacia la terraza y la alberca, y una relación continua entre interior y exterior.

En planta alta, las recámaras de visitas se vinculan a una terraza común pensada como el espacio principal de convivencia.

Una propuesta que reinterpreta la arquitectura tradicional mexicana desde una mirada contemporánea, donde la luz natural, la vegetación y la proporción definen la experiencia.

Residential project in Lo de Marcos conceived for a retired couple seeking to integrate a complete lifestyle within a compact lot.

Within 270 m², the design resolves a full program that prioritizes accessibility, spatial connection, and quality of life: an adapted primary suite, open social areas extending into the terrace and pool, and a seamless relationship between indoor and outdoor living.

Upstairs, the guest bedrooms connect to a shared terrace conceived as the main gathering space.

El vitroblock es uno de esos materiales que logra combinar funcionalidad con diseño.

Nos encanta incorporarlo en nuestros proyectos porque permite que la luz natural atraviese los espacios creando juegos de luces que cambian a lo largo del día y aportan una atmósfera única.

Además de brindar privacidad sin sacrificar la iluminación, su textura añade profundidad y un lenguaje arquitectónico atemporal.

The glassblock is one of those materials that manages to combine functionality with design.

We love to incorporate it into our projects because it allows natural light to cross the spaces creating plays of lights that change throughout the day and provide a unique atmosphere.

In addition to providing privacy without sacrificing lighting, its texture adds depth and a timeless architectural language.
