"The Halo of Change"

The Halo of Change is a quiet meditation on transformation.

Eyes closed, the self surrenders to the present and the promise of what is to come.

Above, a halo lifts the spirit beyond fear and expectation.

Butterflies drift softly, symbolising growth and rebirth, turning change into an act of faith and grace.

This work explores the gentle unfolding of self, the beauty of change, and the deep peace found when change is fully embraced.

Title: Serene Voyage
Medium: Charcoal Pencil on Pelican Paper
Artwork size: 18" x 23"
Paper size: 19.5" x 24.5"
About the Artwork: Inspired by Jude Hindan’s photograph of the River Benue, this piece draws deeply from the river’s emotional and cultural significance. The man in the canoe reflects an individual navigating life with purpose and dreams, while the distant homes evoke a sense of belonging, a reminder of the roots he carries with him and the hope of returning home with fulfilled dreams for his people.
