This was the Infinite Now, a 32h long journey through music, performance and dreams; an exploration of presence and attention, within and beyond time.
I'm thankful to have been a part of this unique experiment, a continuation of the now-legendary The Long Now (2016-19).

By @BerlinAtonal and @UnsoundFestival , 16_17 May 2026

Thanks to @verapogurskaja and @lisabuelow for the tireless help on making the light sculptures.
To @l_v_o and @harry.glass for such a long and fruitful collaboration,
and to the whole team of Berlin Atonal for making the impossible possible.

Also thanks for beautiful images,

As the evening sky slowly blanketed The Hague, visitors began gathering around Amare, where the opening concert brought swells of serene and stunning music – truly setting the stage for the weekend to come. The programme began with the world premiere of Caterina Barbieri & ONCEIM, where the beloved Italian composer and artist’s vivid modular synthesis had new life breathed into it through the stirring timbres and orchestral ingenuity of @onceim_paris – the Orchestra of New Musical Creation, Experimentation, and Improvisation. After a short break, @cat_barbieri returned to the stage with some guest musicians and with accompanying visuals from @mfo.light.space to delve deeper into her deeply intuitive synth compositions.

⚡️DEEP DIVE: @mfo.light.space ⚡️

. ܁₊ ⊹ . ܁ ⟡ ܁ . ⊹ ₊ ܁.

Deep dive into exciting visual worlds of Marcel Weber, alias MFO, who will accompany @aya_yco on lights & atmo next Tuesday, 10.3, in the whirlwind performance in @_archaplus_ 🌪️

Started out as a VJ for electronic music in the early 2000s, he currently narrates spaces, creates sensations, and works in light, video and scenography.

A @berlinatonal‘s director for light and visual and a longtime collaborator of @unsoundfestival in Krakow/Adelaide/Toronto, MFO has been collaborating with Caterina Barbieri Lyra Pramuk, Ben Frost, Tim Hecker and Aïsha Devi among others.

His work is concerned with perception and cognition, with memory and identity, and with their dissolution in mind-altering experiences in the context of unlimited futures, an incomprehensible Now and underlying mythologies.

His performances and installations have been commissioned and presented at venues like @barbicancentre , @centrepompidou , @gropiusbau, @kraftwerkberlinofficial , Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels and many more.
