Together with @shamsisout, we cooked and served a Kerala-inspired feast for around 100 people: matta rice, potato sambar, cabbage thoran, beetroot pachadi, green mango-coconut chutney, pickle, appalam and a toasted payasam cream with coffee-jaggery sauce.

A lot of chopping, giant pots, generous volunteers, slightly ambitious plating, and then finally the best part: everyone sitting down and being served together🫶🏾

Sadya is all about abundance, contrast, hospitality and sharing the table.

Happy and thankful we got to transport Hasliberg to Kerala for a day ❤️

🥭 MOST BERLINERS HAVEN'T TASTED A REAL MANGO.

A few years ago, Mango Mania started as a bunch of friends sitting around a table, comparing mangoes and arguing about which one was best.

Since then, it's become an annual ritual.

This year we'll taste three Indian mango varieties side-by-side, pair them with wine, and explore them through a seasonal buffet inspired by mango season.

A table.
Some flour on our hands.

Strangers slowly becoming a room of people cooking together.

Thank you to everyone who joined the pilot edition!
'Specially to Hani, whose eye for detail made the space and the evening feel just right.

The idea is simple:
