“.. And even though the moment passed me by
I still can't turn away
'Cause all the dreams you never thought you'd lose
Got tossed along the way
And letters that you never meant to send
Get lost or thrown away
And now we're grown up orphans
That never knew their names
We don't belong to no one
That's a shame
You could hide beside me
Maybe for a while
And I won't tell no one your name
And I won't tell 'em your name
And scars are souvenirs you never lose
The past is never far
Did you lose yourself somewhere out there
Did you get to be a star?
And don't it make you sad to know that life..”
Is more than who we are?..” #gogodolls #name by @mfree2go

Cover of “The Way It Is” originally written and recorded by Bruce Hornsby and The Range. The lyrics stands a test of time and still true today of what is going on in America and everywhere else. A touch of historical, political and civil rights consciousness encompasses a strong moral dilemma in our society. 🎹🎶

{Said, “Hey little boy, you can’t go where the others go
‘Cause you don’t look like they do”
I said, “Hey, old man, how can you stand to think that way?
Did you really think about it before you made the rules?”
He said, “Son
Well, that’s just the way it is
Some things’ll never change
That’s just the way it is”
Ah, but don’t you believe them.}

(Piano leads the way 🎹🎵)
