Sticking with TFs, this track focused MG built by father and son team, Mike and Jon Nield, has some serious and very lovely specs, with vented bonnet, uprated brakes vented from front oncoming air, being lighter than a bag of peanuts and of course, a modified 2.5l KV6 engine with a full custom exhaust using equal length headers, as well as a ton of other modifications to ensure it will tear up the tarmac. So sweet, so sweet 🥹 this will also be getting a remap from @rstuninglimited so keep an eye out for some naughty numbers too.

Well, it’s finally been mapped by an expert at @rstuninglimited and although it only made a little more peak power at 208hp, the 200lbs.ft and flat torque curve is very nice. Better still, it is no longer seeing knock from the previous map. The KV6 is a notoriously difficult engine to make much above 200hp, so ITBs now needed to hike the power up, but that could be a lot of effort…. @retro_sports_cars here we come 😈

One good ZR deserves another, so how about a Honda k20 swapped ZR which belongs to @johnmarshallrallying , making around 230hp at the wheels and I believe is also used to rally competitively, or certainly has been in the past.
Lurvely!

We don’t seem to feature many ZR so here’s a little beauty! Belonging to car girl @georgia_zr_ this is a clearly loved and modified MG which will hopefully be seeing some turbo power very soon to match the speed with the looks!

Not a modified MG so much, just a really fantastic example of a 1971 Midget.
Then as now an affordable entry to the MG marque and to having bags of fun with the roof down!

MG with anti tail gating mechanism!
Not sure why I can’t post multiple images but here’s a slightly modified MG ZT V6. No prizes for guessing why, but this regularly pops up on ebay every couple of years and could be yours now for a mere snip at around £6000 I believe.
I wonder if @chris_retro_sportscars at @retro_sports_cars can make me this modification for the MGF 🤔
