The art historian in me doing what I always did before reading a book...flipping through the pages. I have a book about the lifes work of Monet...little did I know we have a lot in common. I bought the book just to flipped through Monets paintings but I never read the text until last night. #monet #waterlilly #art #arthistory #oilpainting taken in California by @mgalchemist

What a weird day it was today.I was going to post this early in the morning but you know things happened around my house. In the last week I have been thinking so much about my former German professor Julian...two years after his departure from this crazy world...I still miss him dearly and mourn him like a member of my family. I am not a woman of regrets but I often think that I should have had😢 that last cup of Kaffee mit Schokolade one last time! I hope heaven is better for you dear friend...until we meet again...❤️ taken in Vancouver, WA by @mgalchemist

September art exhibition in the books…decided on this one because it’s longer! Magical Forest is on display and it was as magical to make! I saw so many great pieces from other artists…bigger than usual and super nice! It was also very nice to meet my childhood friend Rosalinda…it was as time never passed! Like Aaliyah once said…Age is nothing but a number! Lol 😝 #claremont @the_pvaa #artexhibición taken in Alexander Hughes Community Center by @mgalchemist
