Students in the Mass General Brigham University of Health Professions' Genetic Counseling program have the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience at some of the nation's top-ranked hospitals.

In the recent 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals rankings:

🏥 Massachusetts General Hospital is ranked 5th in the nation and 2nd in Massachusetts and the Boston Metro Area for Cancer, with 13 nationally ranked adult specialties and 23 high-performing adult procedures and conditions.

🏥 Brigham and Women's Hospital is ranked 1st in Massachusetts and 2nd in the nation for Obstetrics & Gynecology.

👁️ Massachusetts Eye and Ear is ranked 4th in the nation for Ophthalmology.

Through required fieldwork experiences, students have opportunities to train alongside leading clinicians, apply classroom learning in real-world settings, and develop the skills needed to become the next generation of genetic counselors.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the swap meet! All clothing not swapped was donated to Second Chances, which delivers free clothing to hundreds of people experiencing poverty, crisis, and housing instability in Cambridge, Somerville, and adjacent communities.
