🤎 Love Letter No. 27 | Life Lately

Life lately has been…a lot.

Some of it beautiful. Some of it hard. Some of it still unfolding in ways I don’t quite understand.

I’ve been learning that gratitude and disappointment can exist in the same place. That I can have faith and still have questions. That I can love the life I have while still longing for things I haven’t received yet.

And maybe that’s the lesson in all of this.

Life doesn’t have to be perfect for us to notice what’s still beautiful.

This week’s Love Letter is for anyone who’s been waiting for everything to finally make sense before allowing themselves to fully live.

Maybe we don’t have to wait.

Maybe we can notice the laughter, wear the perfume, enjoy the quiet moments, and make room for a little joy…even here.

Even now.

Blue Skies Ahead. 💙✈️☁️

When I was invited to attend APEX, I didn’t know exactly what to expect. I just knew I was grateful for the opportunity, and I went with an open heart, hoping and expecting that somewhere along the way, God would speak to me.

Message after message reminded us about elevation, about reaching the APEX of where God is calling us, and about trusting Him through every part of the journey.

Even the turbulence.

Because turbulence doesn’t mean the destination has changed. ✈️

And whew…that spoke to me.

Sometimes life doesn’t look the way we imagined it would. Sometimes the journey takes longer than we expected, and sometimes faith requires us to keep believing even when we can’t yet see what’s ahead.

“Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.” 🙏🏽

I think that’s the prayer I’m carrying with me as I leave this experience.

Not because I don’t believe God can move, but because sometimes we need help believing that what we’ve watched Him do for others, He can do for us too. That He still sees us. That He still has a plan for us. And that even in seasons of waiting, He is still God.

I watched God move throughout this conference, and it was truly beautiful. I laughed, I worshipped, I received, and I experienced moments that I know I’ll carry with me long after leaving.

I may not have every answer about what comes next, but I left APEX with something I needed: hope.

Hope that there is still more ahead.
Hope that God is still writing my story.
Hope that the waiting has not been wasted.
And hope that no matter what turbulence comes along the way, God is still in control of the journey.

I’m so grateful I said yes to the invitation and so grateful for every message, every moment, and every reminder.

Here’s to trusting God with what we can’t see yet and believing that the best of what He has for us may still be ahead.

BLUE SKIES AHEAD: The Journey to APEX 💙✈️☁️

I came for the experience, packed a few cute looks 😂, and left with a message I didn’t know I needed.

This week reminded me that the journey to your APEX won’t always come without turbulence. There may be moments that shake you, delay you, redirect you, or make you question where you’re headed. But turbulence doesn’t mean the destination has changed.

Sometimes, you just have to trust God enough to stay on the journey. 🙏🏽

And whew…if that isn’t a word for the season I’m in right now. 🥹

So somewhere between the messages, the moments, the laughter, and yes, the LOOKS 😂💙, Blue Skies Ahead became more than my style theme for the week.

It became a reminder.

There is still more ahead.
There are still higher places to go.
And even when the journey gets a little turbulent, I can trust the One who knows exactly where I’m headed.

I’m leaving APEX encouraged, inspired, and ready for whatever elevation looks like next. 💙

🤍 Love Letter No. 26 | Just Because

I’m so happy to be bringing Love Letters back.

Every Sunday, you’ll find a new letter waiting for you inside The Journal of Maig. Some weeks we’ll celebrate. Some weeks we’ll reflect. Some weeks we’ll simply sit together for a few moments. My hope is that these letters become a place you can return to whenever you need a little encouragement.

It’s a reminder that joy doesn’t need a reason. That softness isn’t something you have to earn. And that the little things—wearing your favorite perfume, lighting the candle, taking the walk, buying the flowers—still matter, even when life feels heavy.
