What an adventure 4 days following TOR from Courmayeur to Cogne and up and over back to Pila. We had stunning weather and incredible views, lots of laughs, flying down some incredible descents to 80s bangers (sorry for the singing @david.menetrat) and hanging for dear life on the climb to Col Lauson while questioning my life choices. This unfortunately didn’t go to plan. Tight cut offs on a hardly marked course were always going to be a challenge but a manageable one. However, combined with a dodgy gpx, missed checkpoint and having to retrace my steps/ losing big chunk of time I had no fight left to keep chasing cut offs for another 8h. 85km not to be sniffed at on a tough course as a season opener. Bigger goals ahead this summer. 🗻🏃‍♀️❤️ #ultrarunningtraining #dnf #mountainrunning by @mgignal
