Erotica!! 👨🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏼 What an amazing project and amazing team. Thank you @gen.r.roth and @jonasserpasouza for trusting me with casting. It was such a daunting task, casting in an age group and demographic I never have before, but I am so proud of what we were able to accomplish, and it’s been my favorite casting process ever! Working as an AD for the both of yall was also such an amazing experience and I hope to do it over and over again🫶🏼 To my fellow production team, yall were killer and I couldn’t have done it without you❤️ @lily._.mccauley @goforbrowski @audreyvweber @tkaurmaar @erikzman @phantomlily @royalpurplerising I am so excited to see what we made!! by @mhenney.media
Last week I had the chance to attend the 20th annual DePaul Premiere Film Festival (@depaulpremiere) to celebrate “Soldiers” third festival screening and we won big time being nominated for Best Live Action, Best Undergrad Directing, and Best Producing! In a crazy turn of events, Ryan @dombrowskirt Rebecca @rebeccaannerhodes and I took home Best Producing! Soldiers was such an amazing experience and we had the best team imaginable. I am so honored that DePaul has recognized our team’s hard work and I am ecstatic to do it all over again this fall… To Genna @gen.r.roth and Jonas @jonasserpasouza thank you for having me on as a producer. I’ll produce anything for you till the end of time🩷 by @mhenney.media
This past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to direct my new short film entitled “What I Want.” It was such a wonderful experience working with amazing cast and crew and I am so excited for everyone to see more lesbian representation in media. To my amazing cast: thank you for being flexible and finding ways to make this script as funny as possible through improv, movement, and dialogue. To my producers @lance.s @thomasbtran and @jacobcoggshall y’all were my rock this weekend and I appreciate everything yall do. And to my amazing DP @gen.r.roth this was such a fun time and I’m so happy we got to collaborate and bring this concept to life. Likewise thank you for bringing my love of directing back. 🩷 Stay tuned to see what’s next for “What I Want!” by @mhenney.media

‼️There’s still time to help us get Truck It to the big screen!‼️ The Truck It Pride Premiere is an ambitious event. Our dream is to have a full on premiere featuring a red carpet photo opportunity, food from the food truck seen in the show, merchandise, and Q&A from the cast and crew. Then we want to continue the party with drag performances, pride performers, and more. Therefore, we are looking to raise $5000 to pull this off. By donating to this fundraiser, you are helping us to pay for: 🌈The FACETS Theater to show Truck It! 🌈The booking fee for an afterparty space! 🌈Our vendors, such as the food truck. 🌈Performers such as drag queens. 🌈Security to ensure the event stays safe. 🌈Photographers & videographers who will capture the event. 🌈Any equipment we may need to help support the premiere. (Red carpets, backdrops, posters, etc.) 🌈Truck It’s festival fees. Likewise, by donating to this event, you can earn a chance to be: ✨Shouted-out during the premiere! ✨Given a special thank you from the cast & crew. ✨The first to see exclusive promotional material before the public! ✨The first to see an exclusive look at the pilot before anyone else! ✨The first to access exclusive merchandise such as stickers, posters, and more. If you’re interested, go to: https://igg.me/at/TruckItPridePremiere/ and donate today! Any donation helps❤️ 🎨Graphic by @pns_pics —————— #indietv #truckitwebseries #truckit #television #indiecreator #webseries #indiepilot #pilot #conceptpilot #comedy #comedypilot #friends #fundraiser #tvproject #chicago #chicagotelevision #chicagoindie #indie #indiefilm #media #asianamericanstorytellers #asianstories #asianstoriesmatter #queer #lgbtqia #indiegogo #indiegogocampaign #indiegogoproject by @mhenney.media
🚨ALERT ALERT GUESS WHO IS FUNDRAISING AGAIN?🚨 That’s right yall! We have forty days to raise $5000 dollars on IndieGogo! You may be asking, “why are you fundraising again?” That’s a great question! The reason is because… 🏳️‍🌈WE’RE HAVING AN OFFICIAL PRIDE PREMIERE!🏳️‍🌈 In this two part event, we will first show everyone the Truck It pilot, and with your donations, we hope to have a red carpet photo opportunity and the official food truck from the show come and cater. Likewise, we want to continue the party by celebrating pride. In the second part of the event, your donations will help us book an after party space where we will have drag queens and other queer performers LIVE for your enjoyment! Therefore, by donating to our campaign, you help us ensure that Truck It can get to the big screen. Check us out on indiegogo today!! 🎨Graphic by @pns_pics —————— #indietv #truckitwebseries #truckit #television #indiecreator #webseries #indiepilot #pilot #conceptpilot #comedy #comedypilot #friends #fundraiser #tvproject #chicago #chicagotelevision #chicagoindie #indie #indiefilm #media #asianamericanstorytellers #asianstories #asianstoriesmatter #queer #lgbtqia #indiegogo #indiegogocampaign #indiegogoproject by @mhenney.media
