My #1 prayer this year was to learn to fully and completely lean on God and not on man, and that’s exactly what I got. 1.5 months before I walked the stage to receive my Master’s degree, I underwent surgery for pain that I had been experiencing for more than a year. I lived in a state of fear from January to April of 2025, but God proved to be the everlasting Father He always has been—and I’m living proof. There was so much pain this year: from loss, heartbreak, health issues, and mental battles. But God constantly reminded me of my favorite verse, John 15:5. Apart from Him we can do nothing, but with Him, we are fruitful. Every loss was accompanied by an even bigger win—turning 25, my business being booked, my family being in perfect health, getting my degree, and being baptized. God’s mercy never departed.Thank you to 2025. Glory to God for a finished year that was far from easy. I’m ready to reap the benefits of the harvest next year 💐 by @mi.banjo

If you know me you know that Temple was my dream since i was a sophomore in high school. I came here excited and ready to take on living in a new city all by myself, unaware of the trials and obstacles I’d face once I stepped on campus. This one is for anyone who doubts their abilities to get into their top choice, overcome prejudices and biases, juggle two jobs and their own business @mi.delights while being a full-time student, or pass all of their classes as a STEM major.
