🌞 🍂 🍁 today my last day on social media . . . until the spring —

Ahhhhh…. Feels so gooood. . To write ✍🏻 this as I embark on a personal journey is the main reason

1- to be present with my son (fully)
2- get creativity flowing uninterrupted for some projects that I am cooking
3- I want to share more on a personal level, but not sure yet . . Something is saying no .. it’s no the time. Because my priority is my son . Yeah would be cool, yeah I can do it, but I value these times more than sharing our lifestyle
4- I want to indulge in all my 4 books I’m reading .,. Yeah I tend to read multiple at a time depending on the mood
5- I want to hear God speak to me, with less distractions
6- We will start some remodeling at our home & I want to be very present
7- I want to blend in with the seasons 🍂 and not fight them
8- I want less noise, less notifications, less likes, & do me
9- keep pursuing playing the guitar
10- love on God & my family, period.

🐸 I love sharing here,.. if you have been following me for a while I love this platform and keep it open to the public. I have met some cool people all over the world & this platform makes me feel connected, but recently not feeling it much.

But I wonder ? Who am I ? Without it ? What happens if I am not active for the next almost 6 months .. who would I be ? Who will I become ? Almost 6 months is a long time
But time is all we got huh ? So why not take it to my advantage.
🌞 good news I love writing and I’ve had my @substack account for more than 3 years 💖 so I will stay there connected . , . If you want to tag along to my writing, personal notes on my life, good readings I’ll be there

🌸 algo de vivir lejos de todo lo que hemos conocido y empezar desde cero es que hemos podido pensar en los valores como familia; alejarse del ruido es muy valioso.. se que todos aveces no podemos irnos tan lejos a un lugar en la naturaleza.

Cada lugar tiene su belleza y sus retos.
Aveces los lugares más bellos te traen procesos duros, aveces los lugares donde no quieres estar te hacen sentar con procesos muy importantes

Esto de hacer un hike con un toddler es hermoso y al mismo tiempo es cargar 40 libras arriba de ti, porque no quieren caminar. Uno decide parar de hacer las aventuras y más bien pegarse el tiro de cargarlo y explorar juntos aunque la caminata se haga muy difícil. .

A mucha gente no le gusta vivir en los Estados Unidos .. yo amo muchas cosas sobre este país. Que tienen áreas protegidas para que uno visite y aprenda de su ecosistema, que respeten las áreas y que uno tenga acceso para hacer estas caminatas eternas en familia.

No ves basura y no hay botes de basura porque sabes que que así lo quieres tener impecable porque te hace sentir tanto y quieres regresar.

Para mi estas tierras me enseñan mucho, estar entre montañas te da un poco de humildad. Aclimatarse a vivir las 4 estaciones es algo que honro porque cada temporada te enseña y tienes que salirte del área de confort. . Una y otra vez

Enjoying family time deeply. ,

🤍 this will be my last week on socia media I’ll be taking looonng break . . I crave simplicity; silence and just being super present with my 3 year old and husband.

There is a deep of wanting to share but not quite sure yet in which way, so I intentionally want to retrieve and see what exactly does that look like , I like to do things intentionally these days.
Dont like rushness to jump into sharing more of my life
I want to have that cozy autumn. I usually do this in the winter, but it feels like Autumn feels sooo good to disconnect from here

🌸🌸🌸 girls surf trip for my birthday … say what !

If you are a surfer and love your girlfriends you know this is the best feeling. Girly time. . Alone time, to drop into the heart and just let yourself be emotional or whatever you’re feeling.

🌲 moving here very North almost border with Canada thought my surfing days were kinda over . . I mean we live by the ocean … and I will always surf but I didn’t know if people were into surfing up here.

🌸 God has been so good, and he has been so faithful and knows the way to my heart because these girls are frothing . . And we have been going constantly every month. Im proud of these girls because they surfing so goood.
🌊 the cold waters are no joke, something that I was worried about .. but the feeling of refreshment and the cold plunge the body loves it it’s good specially when you live in a place of the 4 seasons for your acclimating purposes . . . 🫀

🐸🌼 surfing right next to Cedar trees . . . 🌲 it’s so precious … surfing with barely anyone… 🤍
Surfing while seeing the leaves change 🍂 that autumn is here is profoundly special 🌼

Living in a dream place . Grateful for the amazing husband I get to wake up to every single day 🦕
Your arms, my favorite place. . You are my strength when I feel weak, you are the push to crack my heart open again and again.

Koa you made me a mother, and I take that fully … You are my biggest mission, your wild spirit reminds me life is meant to be enjoyed & every second counts

Grateful for my mamá, I wish we could hang more, I love you, I wish we could play more and laugh more .. I would do anything for that :)
Grateful for my dad for teaching me always to stay humble, and feel with the heart

The place that made me face real life and to choose to be independent over and over again

I am just grateful for somehow God moved us to this place.
There is not really a firm reason why we moved here, it literally was just a feeling.

No job opportunities, actually we were setting ourselves up to be very far from our business. How was it that we trusted that we could make it work. . Not sure

All I know is that these past 2 years we have been humbled deeply, one after another one.
All things have changed.
It’s like a big upgrade happened, and you know change is painful being uncomfortable aches.
Adulting is such a right of passage.

I have changed, a lot. . I walk as a Cristian and not afraid to share my lifestyle and testimony.
Because the lord has been faithful even through the most intense 2 years of our marriage and life

🤍 now I am understanding why people memorize verses from the Bible, because you need to hold on to truth . . When life hits you hard. You must remeber the promises

Stay with high hopes people, even when life feels grey and hard. Stay with your heart open even when the pain is too hard to bare

Coming back to what used to be home 🇲🇽 . . The smell of my streets of my hometown.
The intense chaos of a border town; but the richness of my people. I love the smiles, the feeling of arriving to eat tacos, surfing my favorite breaks that have forever my heart.

🤍 seeing friends + family . . .

This place doesn’t feel like home anymore, home is in the forest 🌲 with my family. But in my bones and in my soul this place is what brings the deepest memories, the wild ride of what it meant to be raised in a border town.

I was a good girl, but I did get crazy, I did wild things.
Seeing death from such a young age scared me … loosing so many good friends that until this day I still think about them . . Tijuana your a wild beautiful place, my hometown ❤️‍🔥

On this side of the border I met my husband, a brave one who wanted to build this beautiful wild idea in his head, he did it. He has experienced this place, i think it’s the only way we both could have connected. Him knowing where I come from, and us sharing the same location to where we go back.
Respect to you husband, you have seen it.

We walk with the lord now, we bow our heads to the most high.

Still learning, still figuring out our rhythm of being back and forth

I am Mexican, and I am so so very proud of where I come from. . . My roots are deep
