I am so grateful to God and blessed to have gotten to spend this week having fun with my best friends in a community and place that wants to bring me closer to God. As reviving and recentering Edge camp has been, it is not the thing responsible for my relationship with God.

A relationship with God is not going to camp and having a fire lit in you. It is not having people pray over you or speak directly to you in a sermon. The one and only thing you need to pursue a relationship with God IS God.

Just as Israel wanted an earthly king they did not need when they had God, we do not need a camp to keep us on fire for God once a year. He has been right in front of you your whole life, and he will forever be there waiting for you to let Him in. taken in Glimpse Of Heaven by @mia._.lore
