Daddy Issues Holding You Back?
I realized my light was being blocked by unforgiveness… by wounds I never fully let God heal.

My daddy issues weren’t just pain I carried — they were dimming the reflection of His light in me. ✨💎 by @mia.l.young

Different rooms. Different needs. The same heart to serve.

Whether I’m sharing God’s Word in a church, encouraging women at a conference, equipping leaders, or teaching entrepreneurs, I count it a privilege to pour into the people in front of me.

My prayer is that what I share meets someone right where they are and helps them move forward with renewed faith, clarity, and courage.

🎤 My 2027 speaking calendar is officially open!

For church services, women’s conferences, leadership gatherings, business events, panels, and workshops, I would love to connect about how I can serve your audience.

Visit drmiayoung.com to submit a speaking inquiry.

You see ten years. But maybe you’re still trying to get through day one.

You’ve got the idea, but you don’t know where to start. And you’re scared to put your time, your money, and your name behind something that might not work.

So you keep waiting until you have it all figured out.

When I started Bright Scholars, I didn’t have ten years of answers. There were things I could only learn by doing.

Pray. Ask questions. Get support. Then take the next step you can take.

You don’t have to figure out year ten to begin day one.

You see someone else doing it.
You wonder if you’re qualified.
You look at what it will cost.
And your idea goes right back in the notebook.

BUT you keep coming back to it, to the thing you believe God called you to build.

You don’t have to figure out the whole business today. You can ask one question, research one cost, or talk to one person who needs what you want to offer.

Don’t let another day of doubting yourself turn into another year of wondering what could’ve been. 🤍

I’m building Kingdom Builders at Work to help you move from “God called me to build it” to “Here’s my next step.”

Ten years ago, families walked through our doors and trusted us with the most precious part of their lives. That trust became the foundation of Bright Scholars.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary today, we’re thinking about every family who has been part of our story. The ones who believed in us from the beginning. The ones who told a friend, brought us their next baby, encouraged our teachers, and stayed connected long after their children moved on.

Thank you for letting us be part of the first words, brave goodbyes, new friendships, and proud “Look what I did!” moments. Watching your children grow has been one of the greatest joys of these ten years.

What began as a dream God placed on our hearts has become a school filled with memories, and a community that means so much to our family.

Now, as we prepare to begin a new chapter with our Lake Nona Moss Park location, we carry your love and support with us. You helped make this next chapter possible.

From our family to yours, thank you for ten beautiful years of Love. Learn. Laugh. We are grateful for every child, every family, and every chapter still to come. 💙❤️🤍

With love,

What if it actually works?

Ten years ago, I had a vision for a childcare center, but I had so much to learn about turning that vision into a business.

That’s why I’m building Kingdom Builders at Work—a community to help you build the thing God called you to build. 🙌🏾

Through practical business teaching, encouragement, and support, I want to help you get clear on your idea and take steps toward bringing it to the marketplace.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
