It’s opening night!!! In a couple of hours, we will be presenting 6 AMAZING pieces of choreography for anyone who is able to come and enjoy. As senior choreographers, we had to research and write 3 papers over our chosen topic, create choreography that corresponds to said research, and put it on our dancers all in 9 short rehearsals. Again if you are able, I’d love for you to come and see what we’ve worked so hard for all semester. I have a link for the tickets in my bio; Seating is limited, so getting them at the door may not work out! My piece titled “Flawed Clause” will be closing the shows this weekend. My dancers and I have worked so hard this semester to put on a meaningful and powerful show for the audience to experience. I appreciate them so much for their PATIENCE and understanding with me as this was a learning experience for me as well as them. They have each been able to bring my jumbled mess of ideas to life and I couldn’t be more thankful for the dancers I chose. MERDE to every dancer and choreographer and a million “Thank You’s” to my professors for trusting me, supporting me, and encouraging me to keep pushing on. There are literally not enough words in the world to express how appreciative I am!! I love y’all, thank you for everything!! ❤️❤️❤️ by @mia_tatum
Black. Lives. Matter. by @mia_tatum
No one deserves my first Apache Belle post and my first post in like 2 years more than you do. You helped pick me up and carry me through the worst year of my life: freshman year of college. You were the only person I knew I could talk to anytime of any day. You were the only person that I knew would cheer for me no matter how bad I looked while dancing. You were the only person who didn’t make me feel like everything I did was wrong. I have no clue if I will be able to survive(literally;)) this next year without you here to help me. You understand me and my quirks and you are a literal breath of fresh air. I love you so so much and happy birthday to the world’s best big. And I’m not exaggerating. You are the best big that I could have ever had. I’m so happy I chose you. I love you!!! #20 #beautifulrose by @mia_tatum
This week was definitely a week to remember. I'm so blessed to have gotten the opportunity to come to this amazing camp and I wouldn't change it for the world. I didn't like every second, but I loved every minute. I will forever be a blue tang!(Wu-tang😉) I love you guys.❤️ #tascsfa17 by @mia_tatum
