My Bio

First off, yes I am adopted - Obviously.
What with my big sister being a human and all.

I am a 9 years old+ puppy, yes you read it right
🌟 P U P P Y 🌟

I am healthy for my age and full of love to give. 💕

Adapting to a new life in Toronto isn't easy and I may think I'm a fearless warrior, but deep down, I'm just a scaredy cat trying to find my place in this big, doggo world. 🐶💪

Big sis says I should still go out and see the world 🐣🐥🐤🐾
Hence why, you might see me being taken out on a stroller.

Although, I have mentioned it to her that it be good for her to just carry me all around town. 🤔
Free weight training with a bag of rice and all. 🤣
🍚🍚🍚

Anyways, I hope you got to know me a little better and I hope that I brought a smile to your day.

Thank you for reading and getting to know me. 🤗

In a world where negativity can be loud and we never truly know what someone, or in Mia's case, some dog, might be going through.
Choose kindness and understanding. 🐶💕

Discrimination, whether based on race, breed, or any other factor, leaves a lasting impact that transcends language. Our choices, including the words we use, should (at least try) always reflect kindness, respect, and empathy.

Let's be mindful of our actions and promote a world where every being is treated with fairness and love. ❤️🌍

Her comfort and happiness are what matter most, and that's a choice we've made with love. Spread positivity and empathy, not negativity or judgment. 🌟❤️

All my worries and anxiousness melts away momentarily whenever I look at Mi.

I’ll find us a way. by @mia_tinypawsadventures

She’s an absolute icon #maincharacter and our favourite character.

In a society where women are treated as property, she answers to no one. And after the passing of her husband, she chose never to remarry. Fabulously treasuring and her freedom above all else. She commands every room she walks into and is often symbolized by her signature cane.

We are hoping to win the #PetSmartSpookyPawsContest 2026 contest, so she can have some peace and quiet away from high society with all her favourite things from @petsmartcanada

Did you get it right?

Happy National Black Dog Day
.
.
.
Based on my own experiences in Asia, black dogs and cats often face lower adoption rates and longer shelter stays due to an unproven and honestly illogical bias known as “Black Dog/Cat Syndrome,”. There’s this weird perception that they are “not good luck”. Obviously, age, breed, and individual personality matter but culturally there’s this unconscious bias.

Take this from someone who is a guardian to a black dog (and a fully black cat). They are the best damn thing to ever happen to me.

It’s fine if you don’t like them, but please leave them alone and don’t hurt or bother them when you encounter a stray.
They are just trying to survive like the rest of us on this harsh world. Please be kind. 🫶 by @mia_tinypawsadventures

Sees mini plate, initial curiosity.

What is this?
Can I eat this?
No.
Then what is it good for?

What?
Is this a joke??
Where’s the food?

Get this outta my sight this instant.
Hmph 😤

Yea.. it looks great.
Show it to me again…

Hi, and welcome to Part 1 of Making memories and lifetime keepsakes at home with Mi-Ah.

In this series, I’m going to be attempting to showcase how to make several pieces of fine metal jewelry at home with the materials and tools required. Follow along if you want to see how it turns out.

Yes, Mi-Ah understands Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Whether she chooses to listen to it, is another matter. 😆 by @mia_tinypawsadventures

Mi-Ah ❤️

I met Mi-Ah and her mom last autumn for a photoshoot in the park. It was a pleasure to finally meet them in person, and I was so enamoured by Mi-Ah's beautiful brown eyes 🥹❤️

This was a conversation that I had with my elder a decade ago and it went like this:

The world would witness the end through a screen and,
it is going to feel like a movie.
It becomes a distant story.
We will scroll past it and,
we would go about our day.
Only we wouldn’t know it, till it’s too late.

Sometimes people are so divided by hate, greed, race, gender, religion and everything else. We often forget that at the end of the day, this is all we have - a short time on a single planet Earth. by @mia_tinypawsadventures

I just love how happy Mi-Ah looks. 💜

We picked up our first hand-building ceramic creation after a month at @markhammuseum and it turned out so well 🫶

A big thank you to the wonderful staff on duty, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and even shared a few laughs with us while we unwrapped our piece.
