After an amazing visit and getting to talk with Coach Hill and Coach Franklin ( @jfrankaag1005 ), I’m so excited to announce that I’ve received an offer to continue my basketball career at Trinity University! 🐅 by @miaa_rodz

The end of a chapter.

This is such a hard post to make because it’s closing a chapter that’s been a part of my life for the last 11 years. AAU basketball has been so much more than just a sport to me. It’s been countless weekends spent traveling, early mornings, late nights, long practices, hotel stays, team dinners, road trips, wins that I’ll never forget, heartbreaking losses, and friendships that will last a lifetime.
It’s crazy to think that something I’ve done for over half my life is coming to an end. I don’t think it’s fully hit me yet, and honestly, I know it’s going to hit a lot harder once my school season is over and I realize there aren’t any more AAU tournament to look forward to. I’m so thankful for every coach who BELIEVED in me, every teammate who battled beside me, and everyone who supported me throughout this journey. While this chapter is coming to an end, I don’t think this is the last time I’ll be playing the sport I love most. (Stay tuned 😉)

Thank you, AAU basketball, for the last 11 years. You’ll always have a special place in my heart. ❤️🏀 by @miaa_rodz

I can’t even begin to describe my love for my team. We have gone through so much and here we are, in playoffs. We have worked so hard for this and i’m so proud of everyone. We never thought this would have been a possibility, but we worked and got to this moment. I love y’all so much let’s keep it up. by @miaa_rodz
