The low angle was ~risky~ but I had to wear my #rizzodress immediately after I finished it!!! 🌷🍀🌸 I love it! Pattern is by @thegoodmurph and I made an XS based on my bust measurement (even though I literally have no boobs). I was a bit worried about the rest of the dress being big enough, but there is so much ease in the bottom of the dress that it worked out great! I'm very happy with the fit. 🥰 The only modification I did was hemming the dress about 3 cm shorter to account for my shorter height, I didn't want to shorten before making one just in case, but I might make this change into the pattern pieces for next time.

I've had issues with dresses feeling too girly on me and this one feels just right, I love the simple shape. Hope to make more! I'm definitely dreaming of a stripy version.. 🍒

First make of May! 🌷🌸🍒
I made this top last weekend, and I used the #philotop by @julesmsmit as my starting point but obviously changed it up a lot hehe! Cropped the shirt a lot and added the gathered tier, widened the sleeves to also gather them at the shoulder and at the added cuff. I also narrowed down the neckline and the shoulders, but it's obviously still a very dropped sleeve. Oh and I added the cute bows too! I was doubting if I would like the shirt the whole time I was making it, but I actually love it and feel very ME in it! 🥳 So definitely a sewing success!

A very casual fit for cleaning around the house while also looking cute 😇

#philotop by @julesmsmit in a linen I bought from Japan. I also squeezed a pair of shorts out of my 2.5 meters so am very pleased! It's an off-white, kind of oatmeal-y color and green stripes. This is my first Philo top! I made view B (the tighter neckline) and really love it, but there is one thing I'm changing for my next one. The top goes in quite a bit from under the armpit towards the hem, and as someone with big hips, I think I'll make the hips roomier next time. 🥰 This one isn't tight at the hips at all thankfully, but I love a loose silhouette so the mod works for my preferences. 🌿

The pants another pair of #lanepants by @hisydgraham with the same mods as my last pair, most notably making the legs a more barrel shape. Love them! This fabric was also a purchase from Japan, a cotton with a gingham print. It's a heavier fabeic and a bit stiff, so holds the shape nicely.

May 1st is May Day (hence the hat) but also the first day of #memademay 🥳🌿 Wearing all me-made. 🥰

The blouse is the #amelieblouse by @silversagapatterns and I've made it three times now! Love this pattern. I've sized down a couple sizes from where the size chart puts me because it is very volumenous! Have increased the cuff length though as to not br too tight.

The pants are a modified pair of #lanepants by @hisydgraham where I made the leg a more balloon shape.

The bag pattern is bt @motif_studio_patterns and this is the second one I've made! 🌿

I made these modified #lanepants by @hisydgraham a couple weeks ago out of a green gingham cotton I got a year ago on our trip to Japan. 🌿✨️ I think I make a size 14 in these? I've made a few pairs already. My mods this time around were adding about 2 cm to the raise to accomodate for my shape, curving the pocket opening (I feel they sit better on my body this way instead of sticking out weirdly) and gradually taking in the inner and outer pant seams from about knee down to create more of a barrel shape. I also made a couple small darts on the back, because I feel the top of the pants is more volumenous than it needs to be. They helped a bit but I don't know if I should resize or grade the top of the pant to be narrower. I'm really pleased with them overall though, I'd rather have more room than have them too tight! 🥰

The cardigan is the #hannicardigan by @knittersandfriends that Olli's mom made for me and it's such a beauty! 😍 Have literally worn it every day since I got it last month hehe.

I also made this skirt/layer thing out of an old crocheted curtain I thrifted years ago but had gotten a huge rip in the middle. It's cute but I'm not sure if I know hoe to style it hehe. But it was a fun project to figure out! 🥳

The past two months in reverse order. 🥳💀✨️ We moved to our new home on monday and have been renovating here for two months before then. It's been equal parts stressing and exhausting as well as a dream come true and exciting and lovely! Now I mostly feel exhausted and we still need to unpack and finish cleaning the old apartment. But hopefully next week will have a bit more time for rest, too. 💛 by @miaintheferns

My final make of 2025 and a return to this account?? 🥳
I didn't really realize I stopped posting here last summer but I had a long break from sewing because I got really into playing the sims lol. But I'm back with this prettiest #amelieblouse by @silversagapatterns ans I'm so so proud of it!! It's my first ever patchwork garment!

I started making these lil patchwork squares maybe like a year ago but once I realized how long it would take to create enough fabric for a whole garment I lost steam. BUT! I picked it back up a month or so ago and finished it just last night by handsewing the buttons on. The buttons are thrifted, I thought the mismatchrd buttons would go great with this colorful patchwork! The fabrics are mostly scraps from previous projects plus other thrifted ones I had in my stash. I'm so proud of this garment and can't wait to make more patchwork things in 2026! Though maybe with bigger pieces lol.

#memademay day 13 and these are some of my favorite pieces of clothing I've made! And these pants are maybe my most worn pants since I made them last autumn.

Pants: #arthurpants by @sewliberated , deets are in an earlier post but happy to answer any questions. Made from thrifted twill duvet cover.

Shacket: Another very hacked #taloversizedshirt by @theassemblylineshop in size L. Cropped length and straightened hem, simple sleeves, no collar but just bias-bound the neckline. Added patch pockets. This fabric was an amazing thrift score, and I was just able to squeeze the jacket out of it. This is absolutely one of my fave pieces in my wardrobe.
