To know you is to love you. The best man I know is home in heaven. Grandpa, you were the sweetest man I have ever met. You were a rock in my life, supporting and cheering me on through every chapter in my life. I admire you for so many reasons, but a main one is your selflessness. You helped anyone in need, no matter the circumstance. I have always looked up to you and your never ending kindness. You made everyone feel special, always telling us how much you love us. Because of you, I know Jesus! You had a passion and mission on this earth to serve God and WOW you did not disappoint.

We always laughed so hard just by looking at each other. I will forever cherish our memories and am grateful for each and every one. Whenever we were together it was such a blast!Your love for the MN state fair was such a fun tradition that we will carry on (besides getting there at 6 AM each of the 12 days). It will never be the same, but I am blessed to have someone that has impacted my life so much and to miss so much.

I will never be able to drink a shamrock shake, go to the Mall of America, Minnesota State Fair, Cossetta’s, Emily’s bakery, or a wild game without thinking of you. I will especially miss my daily good morning text and bible verse from you.

I was so blessed to have you as my Grandpa for 18 special years. I know you are home in heaven, and I can’t imagine how joyful you are to finally meet our savior. As much as I miss you I know you are having the best time up there. One day I hope to be half the beautiful person you were.
