What a wonderful night at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall! 🎶✨

Samara Joy has a voice straight out of heaven—reminiscent of the legendary Sarah Vaughan, with an even wider reach that soars beautifully into the operatic soprano sphere. Absolutely breathtaking. 🎤🤎

She even gave a gorgeous nod to Bossa Nova, which felt especially fitting as my beloved Ravens 🐦‍⬛ play the Cowgirls 😂 in Brazil today ! 🇧🇷💜🖤🏈

Jazz, soul, sophistication, and pure vocal artistry all in one evening.

Brava, Samara Joy! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 by @miamiata

Reminds me of a story written by Langston Hughes entitled "Thank You Ma'am." The main character Luella Bates Washington Jones is kind to a young man named Roger. She teaches him a life lesson through her empathy and understanding. When I teach that lesson, I always ask my students do you think that Mrs. Jones made a lifelong impact on the character Roger, and my students always say yes. What you did for these children Brother was so amazingly beautiful, and I'm so proud to be part of the human race after watching this video. Repost from @emackeycreates
Imagine thinking you were sent to bless someone and the whole time they were sent to bless you.

I’m in a puddle, right now. My heart is so full it could burst. I can’t put into words how sweet and pure these children’s energy was.

When I started this South East Asia journey I had no idea how beautiful the interactions would be. I am so blessed to have experienced this so frequently and beautifully.
