Welcome to the Miami Cavalier Meetup! 🌴🐾

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniels of Miami finally have a home on the 'gram! What started as a small group has grown into a beautiful community, and we’re officially launching this page to keep us all connected.

Since our first meetup in March 2025, we’ve been meeting every few months to celebrate our pups. We’ve hosted everything from our first spring park hang and summer playdate to our spooky Halloween costume contest and festive holiday photos in December. ✨

👉🏻 New pups are always welcome to join us! We are so excited to meet even more Miami Cavies and their humans as we grow.

Follow us here for all future meetup dates, local dog-friendly events, and much more in the works for 2026! 💖

And for anyone interested in Broward or Palm Beach meetups, make sure to follow @southfloridacavaliers!

Meet Maddie & Abbey’s mommas—Michelle & Valerie! 🐶🐾

The duo behind Miami Cavalier Meetup 🌴

What started as an IG message about wanting more local Cavalier events turned into organizing our own in Miami. Our first meetup brought 25+ pups (more than the 20 we hoped for), and our community has been growing ever since!

Get to know more about us:

💗 Michelle

•Born & raised in Miami
•Maddie is my second Cavalier—my first, Princess Bella, lived 15 beautiful years and passed in 2024
•Maddie was a surprise gift from my uncle exactly one month after Princess’ passing.
•I work in communications as a journalist & editor.
•I love exploring Miami with Maddie and have a soft spot for cute bookstores. I also run a virtual book club @bellavidastyles.

💗 Valerie:

•Born in Miami, but grew up most of my life in SWFL
•Did a semester exchange in London and later returned for my master’s (loved it so much and always try to go back!)
•Abbey is my first Cavalier. Before her, I had a Maltese named Chloe
•I love music (if I’m traveling somewhere, there’s probably a concert involved)
•With a background in mass communications & journalism, I now work as a content writer

Now that you know more about us, we’d love to learn more about you. 💕 Drop a fun fact about yourself in the comments! 👇🏼

Meet our Dog of the Week: Lila! 🎀✨

We first met her at our last meetup at @a_doggies_paradise, and she is the cutest, sweetest little girl! We are so excited to keep seeing her at our future meetups! 🐾💖

Here are a few fun facts about her:

• She’s a total daddy’s girl (her dad is her favorite person and safe place 🥹)
• She loves naps, cuddles, and getting spoiled 😂
• She has such a big personality for such a little girl!
• She loves being around people and making new furry friends 🐾
• She definitely knows she’s the princess of the house 👑

💬 Leave a comment below to show Lila some love and say hi!

And don’t forget to follow her at @liladiaryxo to join her on all her adventures 🤍

I was looking for love and somehow ended up overwhelmed by options.

Still single, still handsome, still accepting applications.
