<Two towers, almost a century apart>A visual journey of the old, new, + intersection of the two. Construction on the original Dade County Courthouse ran from 1925–1928. When it opened, the building stood 28 stories tall and for decades dominated Miami’s skyline as the tallest building of its time. 40 years ago, on this day, the City of Miami made its history official, designating it a historic site …protected, remembered, and still watching the city change around it.Now a new neighbor rises beside it: the Osvaldo N. Soto Miami-Dade Justice Center, another marker of where Miami is heading. The Justice Center opened earlier November 2025, spanning: 23 stories / 46 fully equipped courtrooms / updated technology / better layouts /clearer circulation / improved lunch spaces /consolidated public services (designed to be more efficient, accessible, and fiscally responsible). The building honors Osvaldo N. Soto, a pioneering Cuban-American lawyer who survived the Bay of Pigs invasion and spent his life fighting discrimination and expanding access for Miami’s diverse communities.The new courthouse, or Justice Center, currently sits at 20 NW 1st Avenue Miami, Florida 33128replacing the historic Dade County Courthouse which still stands tall at 73 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33130#miamideveloped by @miamideveloped

<GOLDEN GLADES INTERCHANGE (GGI) PROJECT>📸: view from 826 eastbound towards I-95 northboundThis view shows the direct connect ramp under construction which will give drivers access to I-95 without having to use other roads like NW 7 Ave or NW 167 ST. This is probably the most impactful part of the project. ⏳Project Schedule: March 2024 - (anticipated) Fall 2031💰Current Cost: $908 million ✅ Goal: Increasing Regional Connectivity“Congestion is already a major issue for the interchange, with more than 400,000 vehicles passing through daily, and traffic is projected to increase by 50 percent by 2040. MIAMI DEVELOPED 12.23.2021 // BEAUCHAMP Construction, a company that you may have heard of or seen if you’re in Miami, particarly the areas of Wynwood & Brickell. Not that this is anything new, in fact, the complete opposite; they have established presence in South Florida since 1980 and are well known as a leading general contractor in the area. Highway Views 🚜🚗... it seems like along with real estate and improvements of public spaces, we are witnessing the expressways/overpass transform as well.
