The gym respect nobody talks about

If you’re doing well in the gym, the first people who notice are men.

You won’t always get applause. You’ll get:

Head nods
Long stares
Random questions about your split
A quiet understanding that what you’re doing is hard

315 for 8 on bench gets attention.
405 for 10 on squats earns respect.

Men recognize effort. Men study strength. Men respect consistency.

That respect is earned rep by rep, set by set, year by year.

Chase progress, not praise. The nods will come.

God will open doors for you because having a relationship means you are not only hearing what he says but also being obedient to it. If you are obedient to what he tells you and have the will to learn, you can be placed in areas the “world” would say you are unqualified for. #relationships #obedience #blessings #willtolearn by @miamiiprice

Sometimes the blessing is something you stopped noticing.

The bed you woke up in.
The air in your home.
The people in your life.
The job you get to go to.
The ability to walk, speak, think, and try again today.

God, forgive us for treating Your provision like something ordinary.

Give us hearts that notice Your grace. Give us the strength to say no to what pulls us away from You. Help us honor our work, love the people around us, follow the Holy Spirit, and walk into today with gratitude.

We have more to thank You for than we realize.

Some of the hardest battles happen when the old version of you tries to come back.

The anger.
The attitude.
The habits you prayed to leave behind.
The thoughts telling you that you are not enough.
The temptation to respond the same way you used to.

But God did not bring you this far for you to keep becoming who you used to be.

“Take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5

Today, pray for God to keep working on your heart.

Ask Him to help you walk away from the habits that keep pulling you backward. Ask Him to change the way you speak, the way you respond, the way you think, and the way you treat people.

You do not have to become perfect overnight.

Keep surrendering.
Keep praying.
Keep obeying.
Keep becoming more like Christ.

And do not overlook the small blessings while God is changing you. The bed you woke up in. The roof over you. The job you have. The breath in your lungs. The grace that gave you another day.

Save this prayer for the days when the old you starts calling your name.

You woke up today with another opportunity to get closer to God.

Another opportunity to hear Him.
Another opportunity to obey Him.
Another opportunity to leave behind what keeps pulling you away.
Another opportunity to become who He is calling you to be.

So before the noise of the day gets loud, pray for discernment.

Pray for protection over your mind.
Pray for strength against temptation.
Pray for forgiveness where you have fallen short.
Pray for the wisdom to recognize what is from God and what is trying to pull you away from Him.

“Be alert and of sober mind.” 1 Peter 5:8

You were given another day. Do not take that lightly.

Speak life into somebody.
Encourage somebody.
Love somebody.
Follow through when God puts something on your heart.

You have a responsibility to steward the life and opportunities God has placed in front of you.

Before you shrink yourself, remember who goes with you.

Ask God for confidence when you need to speak.
Peace when your emotions feel heavy.
Understanding when you do not know what comes next.
Love when anger starts building.
Direction when you feel uncertain.

Your confidence does not have to come from knowing every answer.

Your confidence starts with knowing who you belong to.

2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that God has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control.
