There are so many incredible songs we’ve somehow stopped talking about… and I feel like we need to be reminded once in a while.

Starting with this one: L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole.💙

Should I turn this into a series where I remind you of the songs we forgot we loved?

And if so… what forgotten banger should I cover next? 👀 by @miaofthesun

I had to celebrate Queen Bey the only way I know how: by making something.🥁

I sang, arranged, recorded and mixed every vocal myself, then shot + edited this little split-screen situation so I could be my own backing vocalists too. All in 7 hours. That’s actually insane. 😭

This is a little TYRANT (R.I.P. Dolly P🥺) → YA YA medley I made, with a tiny lyrical twist of my own.

So…. I need your help getting this to Beyoncé 🐝,

Tag her @beyonce & reshare this as much as you can.🥺

Even send it to a Beyhive member, so it finds its way to the Queen!
Thank you. 🥹🌼

Happy birthday, Beyoncé. 🌼🖤 by @miaofthesun

In a country where Afrobeats is everywhere, I want to build a different sound… see what more we’re capable of. 🌼🩷
Is it obvious that this song is about long distance relationships?? Cuz it is. by @miaofthesun

This is definitely one of the rawest songs I ever wrote.
And this one was about a real person.
Now I share it with you:
Music for when you want to disappear into a feeling.
Category: unrequited love.🌼❤️‍🩹

This is unfortunately based on true life events…
I wrote this in 30 minutes before I went to bed after a long day of sessions and a failed driving lesson. We go again this week I guess.

Here’s me and @sam.theband ‘s cover of this evergreen hit from @jonbellion that turned us and several other Nigerians to avid Jon Bellion listeners and fans.

#popmusic #jonbellion #singer
“Lamenting about being the age of Instastunting and social media manipulation to make ourselves look good, Jon Bellion realizes that in order to really make a connection with someone he has to make himself vulnerable.
The lyrics are solid and have the double meaning of waking up from a dream and waking up to the reality of a situation.”

🌼 Wildflower by Billie Eilish explores betrayal, complicated friendships, and that unspoken thing we call *girl code*.

It tells the story of comforting a close friend through a devastating breakup, only to eventually find yourself romantically involved with her ex. And throughout the song, Billie wrestles with that one question: did I cross a line?

Well, I Mia… I think she definitely did.🫠 What do you think?

Enjoy my & @sam.theband ‘s rendition of this beautiful pop ballad.

Full track dropping on SoundCloud tonight. Enjoy! 🌼🩵 by @miaofthesun
