Thought I might finally post some pictures from hikes across Aotearoa as it feels relevant to @lostnfoundonline exhibition opening this week. Here’s some from the South Island Alps by @miappictures

Earlier this year in Athens I couldn’t get any pictures without tourists in the way, so I started photographing them instead. Surrender or revenge, not sure. There’s probably a picture somewhere of me photographing someone taking a photograph, and a picture of that somewhere too. Here’s a few I was looking through and put together. by @miappictures

I take a picture sometimes and then figure out what they’re about later, if I was to give a meaning to these it would be ageing? by @miappictures

I met these guys on Kleine Scheidegg, playing their alphorn. I didn’t expect for them to be from Manchester when I went over to chat, they told me they met at music college and have been married since, spending their summers playing music together in the Swiss Alps. by @miappictures

Back shooting some gigs lately, this one’s for a project I’m currently working on with @mcopedesign covering grassroots music venues in London and the communities they create spaces for! Here’s a few lovely people we met at New Cross inn. taken in New Cross Inn by @miappictures

This is my Dad Mike with his motorbikes. There has only been three years in his life where he hasn’t owned a motorbike and even in that time I’m pretty certain he will have owned parts of one. He usually buys them in pieces, builds them back up and changes them out again. Not just bikes, cars too. I recently started this causal project with and about him, looking at the companionship you can find in a lifelong hobby and how this mechanical interest has travelled alongside my dad throughout his lifetime. The bike on the fourth slide is called ANI, he’s had it all my life. He told us he never intends to sell it, and when he passes it will be mine or my brother’s. Neither myself nor my brother can ride motorcycles. by @miappictures
