What’s next?

Maybe my doctorates BUT I think I’ll enjoy my two masters for the time being. I’m filled w/endless gratitude & astonished by my village of friends and family. Their love, support & how great they believe in me is what has mostly encouraged me, yet I know that God intended for me to be where I am today. God PROMISED to answer my prayers in growing accomplishment, excitement for my future & pure peace in my heart. Now that the tough part is over, I can finally resort to my most soft life & to hard work’s sweet reward! Miss Dual Masters is done & this is how you supposed to walk into 25!✌🏾😘

In December I graduated Howard University - a bison, a first generation graduate, receiving a job in my field immediately after as a reporter at a well-established oil and gas media company. In January, I started working and immediately felt like I was where I was supposed to be. In April, I made the decision to go back in a couple of months to study corporate law. Yesterday, I sat in my regalia with my inspiring peers and felt beyond blessed to have been given all of the relationships, opportunities, and experiences I was able to live out with Howard.

I call out Proverbs 16:9 and Romans 8:38 today. I can finally declare that I chose my path, but that only God could have ordered my steps for my life and I can also declare that it was me knowing that absolutely nothing in these four years could have separated me from my faith or from the love of God. I truly never would have been successful without knowing these things.

Thank you to the love, the support, my amazing parents, family, and circle of friends.
