May 10, 2025. in 2 weeks i walk across that stage (again🤭) to receive my BSN. i can’t believe it’s finally here! this experience has truly been one of a kind and one of the hardest things i’ve put myself through. but i did it🥹 passed every class, passed every final, and even secured a job for after grad! Lambuth taught me and gave me so much, from friends turned to sisters, an incredible cohort, and the confidence and knowledge to enter the nursing world. thank you God for carrying me on my way🫶🏽 📸: @jadariuslawsonphotography by @miaya.smith

it’s taken me some time to finally post this because i haven’t fully accepted that i’m retired now🤧i’m so grateful for the amazing time i’ve had with this sport and i will cherish the time i had forever. over the years, volleyball has blessed me with some forever sisters in my teammates, long lasting relationships with coaches, and the opportunity to be supported by and play for an incredible fan base here in Memphis. thank you to everyone who has sent a good luck message/encouraging words to me before my games and practice, came and supported me at the games, or even watched on tv!🫶🏽 this has been one long and enjoyable journey but i look forward to the new journey still ahead of me!-#5, Miaya💙 by @miaya.smith
