This is a photo I took last August at Walden Pond. 🍃It’s not some hidden, untouched escape like people imagine. It’s actually a small, almost community like pond, kids running around, families laughing, people swimming and laying out in the sun. Open, ordinary, alive.

I walked alone along the wooded path by the water, eventually finding the site where Thoreau once lived.“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately.”
But the truth is we don’t have to go to the woods to understand that.

To live with intention. To take back authorship of my life. Not to disappear into silence, not to keep draining myself, but to pause, reset, and choose what actually matters. Since then, I’ve been trying to show up for my days differently. More aware. More honest. Like each day deserves an answer from me.

6 hours of hosting, remarks done, ready to leave… and then we got called back on stage. Thought it was another remark — surprise! The script changed into a birthday moment just for me. Thank you, @lesliewong1016 for making this happen ✨
