I got to join my new shred homie @abbyposnermusic at a recent local show. If you haven’t heard her music yet, go check it out! One of my favorite things about being a musician is getting to meet new musical family and then creating magical moments together. Stay tuned for more collabs! by @micaelakingslight

✨ TWO NIGHTS IN WASHINGTON ✨

This October, we’re bringing together two powerful PNW musical forces for a pair of groovy gatherings in Seattle and Port Townsend.

FAMILY MYSTIC is a Portland-based collective weaving four-part vocal harmonies with funk, soul, psychedelic rock, Americana, disco, and jazz fusion. Their live shows are rooted in song, dance, emotional connection, and the simple magic of gathering people together. Equal parts groove, playfulness, and heartfelt musicianship, Family Mystic creates the kind of music that invites you to move—and reminds you that you belong.

MICAELA KINGSLIGHT is a Port Townsend-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, vocalist, producer, and lifelong music educator. Her genre-bending sound brings together folk, blues, soul, electronic pop, and South American medicine music, woven through an expansive palette of acoustic and electric instruments. Her music is rooted in connection, healing, and the transformative power of the voice—and it’s made to be felt in the body.

Two artists. Two communities. Two nights of music, movement, and connection. 🌿

🎶 PERFORMER SPOTLIGHT: @micaelakingslight!

Micaela Kingslight is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter, music educator, and somatic sound practitioner whose life has been shaped by music from an early age.

Raised by opera singers in Taos, New Mexico, she began playing violin at three, then piano at five, composing and performing original music by nine before falling madly in love with the guitar when she was ten.

Since then, Micaela has developed a dynamic sound weaving folk, blues, soul, medicine music, and contemporary influences.

She has toured extensively, opened for legendary artists including B.B. King and Keb’ Mo’, and performs both as a solo artist and with the folk and medicine music trio Three Wheels Turning.

Micaela’s work explores the transformative potential of sound, movement, and the human voice—inviting people into deeper embodiment, creative expression, connection, and liberation. She has recorded two solo albums, and has a double album in the works.

We are honored to welcome @micaelakingslight to the 2026 Conscious Growth Convergence as we gather in community around this year’s theme: Rooting into Resilience.
