College has been a roller coaster ride! I couldn’t have done this without the amazing support system around me, my family and all of my loving friends I met along the way. You were there in the best times of my life and through the hardest times of my life. Some of you were a shoulder to cry on and sometimes when words couldn’t express emotions, we cried together.

Thanks to my dad, my number one supporter who always kept my head high no matter the circumstance. I know he’s cheering me on in heaven. He’s the one who made me who I am today. Thanks to my homie Jesus Christ for helping me accomplish this and showing me the TRUTH of who I am in his eyes. A strong, smart, and creative woman. My future is bright because of him. 🙏 Thanks to allllll the coffee shops that allowed me to focus and study all these years. y’all the best. So excited for this next chapter in my life! 🎉😆🤩

Also thanks to my brother @zachballes for taking these STUNNING graduation photos. 🫡📷 taken in Texas State University by @micaelaskyee

Introducing Micaela Skye, a singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas.

I believe music is medicine for the soul. Through every song I create, my hope is to uplift others, inspire them, and bring a little more joy into the world. I’ve been writing songs since I was 6 years old, and for much of that journey I’ve had the privilege of creating alongside my brother, who became an amazing music producer.

Music is the art form where I feel the most called to create! If my music finds its way to you, I’d be honored if you’d give it a listen and check it out. Let’s enjoy some art together. 😌

My music is linked in my bio.

A mini day in the life of assisting my brother @zachballes on a photo shoot.

I was having so much fun practicing transitions and the art of sound effects.

Keep creating! 🫶🏽

“HONEY,” my first independent single, focuses on embracing the waves of young adult life and its changing seasons. Leaning on my faith while also seeking stillness and quietness for next steps. This song focuses on the journey of growth and self healing.

I loved creating this project, it was so fun! Hopefully this can relate to others on the same journey.

Thanks to my brother @zach.valles who assisted me as he’s very knowledgeable in production and structure, and @vicgproductions for his grammy award winning/nominated mixing and mastering skills.

Pre save “HONEY” releasing March 20th! (Link in bio)

Keep creating,

-Micaela
