One morning. as I was spending time with Jesus…

I was expressing to the Lord how much I love him and adore Him.

I usually begin my time with Him saying, “Lord I love you.”

However, it felt as if the Lord stopped me in my tracks and reminded me that He loved me first not me.

That He made the first move, not me.

It was Him not me who made a way through His Death, Burial, and Resurrection for us to be in a relationship here on earth and in eternity.

Therefore why am I beginning my conversations with saying, “I love you.”

If He is the groom and we as the body of Christ is the bride, then He should say His vows first as we respond with our vows of love to Him.

For it is because of His Love washing over us that we get to even utter the words “I love you.”

It is because of His sacrifice on the cross that we know what Love even is!

Therefore as everything begins and ends with God

Our prayers should end and begin with Him being the focused.

It is not about perfection but it is about a proper prospective of the sovereignty and the depth of His love for us.

1 John 4:10 “This is real love - not that we loved God, BUT THAT HE FIRST LOVED US and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.”

I Peter 2:9
[9] But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

People have been saying, "This generation is lost." Well, let me tell you, We've been found by The Lord Jesus Christ, and He sending us out on Misson declare His Love amongst the Earth!

For he grew up before him like a young plant,
and like a root out of dry ground;
he had no form or majesty that we should look at him,
and no beauty that we should desire him.
