Ive been inspired by this beautiful ambient track by @lxv00001 recently so i sampled it and mangled it into a playable Ableton drum rack on the Push 3

part 1 🌊

thinking about incorporating more ableton buttons and finger drumming like this into my live sets. What do you think?? by @micahsota

I’m trying to begin a new practice. It boils down to this:

Consume less. Share more.

This clip has been sitting in my drafts for almost a year. I filmed it on a train in norway, and every sound you’re hearing is from a custom drum rack i built in ableton.

The funny thing is…. I never posted it because i couldnt decide what text to put on it.

I love making music and sharing my skills, but sometimes i let the pursuit of “perfection” stop me from sharing anything at all. Now, id rather choose to be seen.

So here we go. I’m sharing it anyways :) by @micahsota

ELLO! Whats up! Water you doing tonight?

Something wavy is happening tonight at Spectra Art Space and i highly recommend you come check it out!

I’ll be playing a fully improvised hybrid ableton/cdj set with lots of buttons and vibey new music. Im aiming for a soft smooth and bouncy atmosphere this time.

This will be a super chill, creative space. Less of a rager, more of a connection celebration. Come hang out, flow and maybe even get a tattoo?!

⏰7pm-11pm, TONIGHT 4/29
📍Spectra Art Space - 1836 S Broadway, Denver

I’m on the outdoor stage at 8pm. Would love to see you there! Bring a sweater ❤️‍🔥
