I chanced upon the event post weeks ago while doomscrolling and signed up immediately 😅 It’s my first admin night—apparently this is the new hangout trend for adults? There’s a Mashable article I read that describes it as “a structured, communal way to tackle the invisible labor of adulthood together. Less party, more parallel productivity.” And truly, it’s always nice to get to work outside, get some friend time in, and be surrounded by people in the same boat.

Some glimpses into last year’s journaling practice before I share my 2026 journals 📔✨

In 2025, I finally hopped on the Hobonichi train and got a Cousin. It was my first time using an A5 daily planner/journal. “Upsizing” was intimidating at first, especially since I’m still pretty new to daily journaling and memory-keeping, but I ended up loving all the space! I didn’t always fill the pages, but it was so satisfying whenever I did.

When I had enough downtime in December, I randomly thought to tally all the full/finished pages (didn’t have to be literally full, as long as I wrote a significant amount and/or the page felt complete), unfinished pages (either I only wrote a couple sentences or I started decorating the page but didn’t get around to writing), and completely empty pages. I was curious about the percentages! The results were a pleasant surprise: I’d filled 60% of the pages and only 10% were blank. Not bad, I think! My journaling practice wasn’t perfect but I showed up when I could. (Also, the slumps were records of when life was hectic or when I wasn’t enjoying journaling as much. The empty pages told their own stories.) By year-end, I was thrilled with my chunky Hobonichi and all the memories and thoughts it held.

At the end of December, I used the last pages to pen a letter to 2025 (inspired by @nicacosio!) and write some reflections on my first year as a Hobonichi user (I don’t think it’ll be my last, but I’ll try a Kinbor before going back). Then I declared my Cousin “complete” and put a ‘thank you’ sticker on the back end page. ❤️

Now on to another year of journaling and memory-keeping, of creativity and clarity, of stationery swaps and paper parties and hangouts with journal pals! 🥰 by @micahsulit

A note to my amazing sister-in-law @carlalizardo_ on her birthday 🤱🏻💞

We barely have any photos together because we’re either chatting, playing with Docia, or co-working at the dining table—something I’d like to remedy from now on!

Carla, I’ve loved spending more time together and growing closer to you over the past year. I saw both your outer and inner strength as you navigated pregnancy and now motherhood. It’s such a pleasure witnessing your journey, from the daze of Docia’s first weeks to the pride in her advanced skills (#competitive lol) and the joy of seeing her be such a happy, healthy baby. 👶🏻 You’re doing an incredible job, Mommy!

Finally sharing these before the Taylor-verse moves on to TTPD tomorrow! 👻

SG 2024: Concert Day (March 7, N4)
2) All of us ladies dressed for different eras!
3) So relieved to get into the stadium. Our ticket printouts got soaked in the mad dash to our gate in the pouring rain, so of course they didn't scan. Thankfully, signal was still good enough for someone to send us the PDFs.
4) Trading bracelets! Thank you, Tita @piamariacruz for capturing this.
7) Had to include a video of my own (no zoom). Most of these videos were taken by @maxcruz30.
9) Waiting to hear what our first surprise song was. "FIFTEEN!!!"
10) We got YOYOK and the freaking friendship bracelet line! 💙

Obviously ✨ this day was a fairy tale ✨ but there are many, many things from the Eras Tour era that I'll never forget, from how @maxcruz30’s wedding preps stopped so the bride and her 3 maids of honor could focus on manifesting tickets (Chin gathered all the UOB cards she could find + I was the only one in our group of 9 to get a code and we thankfully got to use it), to dressing up together and helping each other with makeup/face gems, to regrouping after the show and comparing notes (also with @ljsulit & #Shiela, who watched on N6). I absolutely loved sharing the entire Eras Tour experience with my siblings, cousins & aunts. 13/10! 💖 by @micahsulit

A whole month ago already! 😲 (Reposting because for some reason naging puro si Dyan yung last carousel 🤣)

SG 2024 Leg 1: Friends
Flew in with college friends and squeezed into a tiny room where we had to announce each movement so everyone could get out of the way. 😅 What an eventful few days, from having scrumptious lamb kebabs with @thejenaquino at 3am (and returning with everyone the next night), queuing multiple times for merch with @maxcruz30 (in case they’d restocked smaller sizes) while my friends were at their concert, to chasing pigeons and chickens for a photo op! 🐓

Please also notice my Evermore, Lover, Midnight, and 1989 daily outfits, LOL. I had a Speak Now but-make-it-sporty look, but we were too tired for a jog/walk at Henderson Waves. I’ll make it there someday! by @micahsulit
