A moment for a timeline cleanse 🌀🧚🏻‍♀️✨🦋

unless you’re an arachnophobe in which case let this delicate, stunning girl heal you.

Cobweb Spider (Steatoda Triangulosa)

Aphids (Aphidoidea) pierce stems and leaves with their very own built in straw mouths to feed on plant sap. It’s common for people to combat them with the use of pesticides. A better solution is beneficial insects like ladybugs (real ones!! NOT the highly invasive Asian lady beetles commonly sold in big box hardware stores) as well as lacewings.

Green Lacewing (Chrysoperla carnea) egg

Beneficial insects arrive on their own. Without the use of pesticides, they are able to help keep the balance of the ecosystem in check and thriving

Temperate White Springtails (Folsomia candida)

Nature’s clean up crew! Decomposers like springtails and isopods (roly poly) are essential for breaking down and eating waste and mold then recycling the nutrients back into the environment. They are precious and we love them.

Mating pair of Gold Marked Thread Waisted Wasp (Eremnophila aureonotata). Say both of those names 5 times fast

California Mantis (Stagmomantis californica) having lunch

Tiny cobweb spider wrapping her lunch for later

Jumping Spider (Habronattus coecatus) if the arachnophobes are still here, you should be cured now

If you made it this far, thanks for looking 🥹 taken in Long Beach, California by @micalaaustin

A lil gift for my mom and stepdad 🧚🏻

All materials sustainably and ethically sourced always!
Dragonfly found by my stepdad in their backyard.
Crystals from a collection from my grandparent’s land in Arizona.
Delicate, little leafies that fell from a tree in my neighborhood.
