Green geometric bubbles.

Another geometric experiment, this time with Tropical Green mica powder and a blackened deep forest green shade.

Definitely not perfect but the intended pattern comes through.

What do you think of the colour choice?

Would you have picked something different?

Let us know in the comments.

Are you ready for stage two?

Whew, after hours of measuring, cutting and sticking embeds in place we are ready for the next stage.

This design idea has been knocking around the soapy workshop for a while...so finally had a go at it.

I am thinking an almost black green or blue might work well for the contrasting soap against the Tropical Green Mica Powder coloured soap

What do you think?

The "Backgammon Bars" are ready!

This batch of soap slept very well overnight and was bright-eyed and ready for cutting this morning.

Not a bad result. Quite easy to make with striking results.

What's your favourite bar?

Do you prefer the orange, green and white combo?

OR

The pink, orange, green and white bars?

Have you been inspired by this season's Pantone colours?

We selected some of our natural and synthetic mica powders inspired by Pantone's Spring/summer season.

Then we swatched them!

Don't they go so well together?

First up......

🌼 Pink Blue synthetic mica powder delivers a bright, clean, hot pink shade. So close to the Pantone shade "Beetroot Purple."

🌼 Mandarin orange synthetic mica powder is a warm, umbre orange alot like Pantone's "Tangelo."

🌼 Apricot Orange mica powder is a cross between Pantone's "Empire Yellow" and "Peach Pink."

All swatches were gelled in our soapy oven.

What colours are you creating with?

How are you celebrating the sunshine?

Magenta, luminous yellow and gregarious green are some of the colours of this season.

Don't they all go well together?

There is also a surprise colour lurking in this log mold.

Can you gues what it is?

Made with Sunshine yellow mica powder, neon yellow pigment, pink frenzy neon pigment, neon green pigment and the surprise pigments.

Is soap carving a thing???

Have been meaning to give this a go for sooooo long.

Made a funky Jackson Pollock inspired slab of soap and started carving away.

What do you think of the results??

Hearts and swirls, hearts and swirls...and some blobs..🤪😮

Hope you are all having a good Monday.

Took a while for this heart soap to get its act together so it could be cut! 😠

Finally got round to hacking it up today 🤗

Colours - Pink Frenzy Neon pigment, Rockstar Red Mica and good ole titanium oxide and black magic mica.

What do you think of the final chop??

Swirling mash up with some hearts thrown in!

Clearly we felt deprived of Valentines vibes over at the Micamoma HQ so we needed some love hearts.

This soap features Rockstar Red synthetic mica powder and Pink Frenzy neon pigment.

The design is a little bit random and I had to stop pouring and swirling before it got out of control!😂

What are you making today??
