Pinch me! 🤏

Today our short film will have its first screening with a public audience at Bad Astronaut Brewery at 7:00pm.

I’m so proud of my actresses for taking on this passion project and cannot express how thankful I am for their support. This is a just a step in the right direction and it deserves a celebration 🥳

Ayer 🖤🎥🎬 short film

the trailer doesn’t show the full story..
Comment what you think the film is about !!

Grateful for everyone who helped bring it to life. This film is far from perfect and that’s exactly what makes it special. It carries the passion, mistakes, discoveries, and growth of my first filmmaking experience.

Ayer is a story of friendship and the surprising ways people show up for us. When Isabella’s responsibilities are threatened by an unexpected setback, her roommate’s (Tanya) actions reveal the true meaning of loyalty. by @mich.a_art

What an incredible night! 🌟

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at @tmchelixpark to celebrate the artists of "Soñadores" at the inaugural reception. We shared an evening filled with Latin American art, music, dance, and flavors that truly honored our roots and sense of belonging. ❤️ Our hearts are full.

A special note of gratitude and applause to the producer and curator of this remarkable exhibition, Rose Tylinski (@paintedbyrose__ ), Founder of Painted by Rose and Healing Arts Program Manager at The Health Museum. Thank you for bringing this vision to life and uplifting our community's artists! 🎨✨

As proud partners with TMC Helix Park and @thehealthmuseum, ALMAAHH was deeply honored to serve as a supporting organization for this event, alongside the City of Houston @houstonartsalliance and the brilliant performers from Raíces del Perú (@raicesdelperuhoustontx ). 🎶

Soñadores is on view until October 25th!
I loved being a part of the artist reception, a beautiful event brought to life by @paintedbyrose__ , celebrating Latinx culture, our ancestry, and the many years that have brought us to this moment.

A special reminder that our culture is not only rooted in our history, but continues to be alive, evolving, and celebrated TODAY!

So grateful to Sister Cities of Houston–Huelva, Spain Association for creating the space to showcase such incredible artists and celebrate art and culture. I loved sharing conversations about art, culture, and international collaboration with diplomatic representatives in Houston, including the Consuls General of Ecuador and Colombia. 🇪🇨🇨🇴🇪🇸🎨

Even more special was the opportunity to see my work alongside Mexican-Spanish artist Pamela Encinas and to work closely with digital curator Silvia Fallas, representing artists from her gallery. by @mich.a_art
