Back in May I hit 100 dives. 74 hours of bottom time 🤿

Our dive cadence had been extremely casual and hitting 100 dives would have taken 40 to 50 years, until Bonaire changed everything.

I look like a total dork coming out of the water after pushing 20 dives in 2 weeks to hit the mark but here we are. I also chose a very easy and high traffic spot... So I kept my skivvies on (maybe at 200 ill drop some clothes iykyk).

I love exploring shops and art when traveling. 4 years ago, in Merida, I started following a lot of the companies that we discovered (i.e. Coqui Coqui). Supporting local when we travel is important to me.

So when I had already been following @neu_tro and was told a dress code was "bright colors", I saw the perfect opportunity to buy a truly unique dress from the Yucatan to wear months later in Quintana Roo.

But we don't live in Mexico (sadly). Ordering and receiving it was a fun challenge in itself. I was able to lean on friends and family to ship to Mexico City, fly it to Michigan, and ship to Utah 😂 When I put my mind to something, I'm making it happen. (Muchas gracias @yizzi y @jhaitaian. Love you guys)

Ordering a dress made of chords is risky when you cannot try it on before hand but I trusted the pictures online and committed.
It did not disappoint. This is by far the coolest piece of apparel I have ever purchased. And I love that it's handmade in one of my favorite places ❤️ and worn in another favorite place.

I'm obsessed.
I need to get back to Merida to visit in person and hug whoever made this.

🤿🫧Jan 2025 - We did hop a weekend flight to AZ for some warm weather, but our annual gear check at The Crater takes the last year's spotlight.

To think we lived in FL for 2 years and never blew bubbles there, but dive every year 5 miles from home in the snowy mountains!

Fun fact: It's in the top 10 sites in the US due to its unique location, formation, and water temp!

I have been dreaming of 2014. Earlier this week was Lago Atitlan and last night was the Belize Zoo...

It felt impossible to do then, it feels impossible to do now. But we have already proven that we can do anything, irresponsible or not, if we really want to.

One day, we will return to the PanAm.
