🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Edinburgh

Man, it is so hard to choose from all of these epic photos. This city is so stunning. The balance that Scotland holds of the mystical, fairy, unicorn vibes - with - the gothic, rugged, witchy vibes really helped me to understand some deep parts of myself. Thank you, Scotland for all your beauty & magic! ✨

1. Our intro to Edinburgh, as we walked out of our airbnb onto this beautiful trail, was this creepy statue standing in the river.
2. A local friend recommended that we walk the path to Leith. It was lovely.
3. Very old structures and statues all around. This is Hygieia, the Greek goddess of health.
4. Dean Village. Gothic fairy tale vibes straight from my dreams.
5. Fountain with Edinburgh Castle in the background.
6. Thistle (Scotland's national flower) with Edinburgh Castle in the background.
7. The witch's well. (My voice-to-text initially wrote 'The witch is well' and I don't feel like it was an accident) A memorial for those executed for witchcraft.
8. A new friend. We bought a bunch of his beautiful artwork and had a few good chats.
9. Us, in the coolest tiny stone cafe that we found down an alley.
10. I think the biggest and most beautiful birch tree I've ever seen. @ the Botanical gardens.
11. Victoria Street. Aka. Diagon Alley.
12. Arthur's seat overlooking the city.
13. Just a regular day when we walk into a pub and @michael.a.m spots a stand-up bass and joins the band.
14. Us exploring the garden. This was such a beautiful day.
15. Scott monument. Completed in 1840.
16. A lovely time with thaisblanc @watermelon_tattoo. This one feels really special.

18. So many cool passageways and portals through the city.

3. I did a solo day trip to this village just to check out this pottery studio.

11. This slow, foggy day was so magical. Wondering town, visiting museums/art galleries & thrift shops. What a dream.

Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 - St.Andrews/Classical Guitar Retreat

I thought this would be the last of the trip pics and that I could put all of St.Andrews + Edinburgh together ... Turns out I can't even get all of my fav St.Andrews pics in one post 😅 We spent the most time there because of the retreat, so there was a lot to capture + Edinburgh was so epic it definitely deserves its own square.
More to come!

1. Walking @michael.a.m to his first day of classical guitar school.
2. Guitars are hard to travel with. One was waiting at the retreat for M, But this was his first time playing a guitar in almost 2 weeks!
3. Epic storybook tunnels around every corner.
4. The view from the top of St. Rules Tower (approx 900 year old tower 😳)
5. The journey down 163 stairs in a small, winding metal staircase.
6. What is left of the Cathedral of St.Andrews, built in 1158. Enjoyed a very interesting guided tour learning some history here.
7. Sunset view from our dorm at St. Andrews university.
8. I had a few days of this routine - breakfast with the guitar crew, Yoga, icecream while walking to the beach, explore the beach/swim in the freezing water, then back here for a latte and sweet treat. Such a dream. ✨
