the vibe is part over enthusiastic trick-or-treater and part dog straight-out-of-the-bathtub.

STUPID F**KING BIRD 🪶

This semester has been a whirlwind, a quick one. Along with the ups and downs of college, I had the honor of doing Stupid F**king Bird. What a brilliantly crafted piece of art this is. Here’s a little update on me (guess who’s in SWISH 🥳) and some surprises at the end.

💈SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET💈

Angry shaver boy with a vengeance. ✅
Dream role of a LIFETIME achieved. I’ve never felt such a connection to a character, and it’s crazy that it took a homicidal barber. This production has been a blast to work on, and getting to know each of 🎶My Friends 🎶 along the way is what made it worth it. taken in McGinnis Theatre, ECU by @michael.travis.reed

Beautiful girlfriend post and a dump towards the end. Had an amazing past year (or two) with friends and family, and have a super awesome year ahead. An awesome couple of years of theatre, fantastic trips to other countries, and a few lazy days with the love of my life. OH and took in a little doggie named Ace along the way. taken in Paula Deen's Family Kitchen - Myrtle Beach, SC by @michael.travis.reed

Well you all, I’m a little late with a post because I’ve been a lotta busy with this cool and awesome show I’m doing in Wilson! [title of show] is an incredible musical about two guys writing a musical about two guys writing a musical! It’s incredibly witty, captivating, and definitely a step outside of “normal” theatre. It’s also all a true story from the conception of the idea to their opening on Broadway! It’s a five person cast so my relationship with this cast and crew has grown so strong in such a short amount of time. The amount of work each of us has put into this show is so incredible. This show has taught me a lot about myself as an actor (and singer ig) and; it has prepared me for the future in ways I could not have anticipated. There’s a line that mentions “meeting your heroes” and I got the amazing opportunity to virtually meet one of the incredibly talented writers, and original performers, of [tos]! Technology rocks! Hunter Bell, thank you for your kind words and giving us the experience of doing this show! I can’t wait to see what else you put out into the world!!!

There’s one more weekend to catch the show, and I’d advise you to get your tickets while you still can! :-)
