I met the Queen at the end of her Diamond Jubilee year. It was a magical time. Wise, witty, curious and highly engaged she was the “boss” in the best sense of the word. I was the “American” in that small world but honored to try and help as best I could. I owe a debt of gratitude to my Paul, Steve, Barry and of course Paul Whybrew and Angela Kelly for watching out for me and allowing me to be a part of such a spectacular time in history. For ten glorious years I was close enough to feel the power and humility of this great leader. I was on the scene during some momentous occasions and I got to see the Queen as a mother, a grandmother and Queen. I saw the personal and the public and was able to talk about family, her love of nature and her beloved animals. I even made her laugh on occasion! What a lucky man i am. She inspires me every day. by @michael_atmore

The beauty of Balmoral is timeless. The Queen loved her Scottish home and I think she loved that we did too. ❤️👑 @paulmesher spent many years here before me but together we’ve been so lucky to experience magic in the Scottish Highlands for another spectacular fall. Walking Windsor with Paul Whybrew this week stirred so many memories. This little slide show features a few of the amazing times I’ve been so lucky to witness here. Thirteen years ago I stepped off a plane from Hurricane Sandy-ravaged New York to attend a huge staff reunion, a grand dinner that marked one of the last big events in The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year. It was a night that would forever change my life. Together with @paulmesher, I entered the Waterloo Chamber and was warmly welcomed into the fold by @theofficialangelakellycvo, Paul Whybrew, Steve Neido, Ken Atmore (!), Barry Mitford and so many others. Over the next decade, thanks to all of their generosity and the blessing of The Queen, I was able to share some incredible moments at Windsor seen here. The biggest thrill was taking my then 90-year old mother to The Queen’s birthday celebrating her nine decades. My mother got the biggest kick out of watching Prince Phillip carriage driving! Over the years there so many milestones, including The Queen’s last Horse Show in the spring of 2022. After she watched Helen Mirren and Tom Cruise perform tributes, HM took a slow victory lap around the arena set up on the grounds of her beloved Windsor. It was her last. The Queen’s funeral that fall was incredibly emotional, marked by the stirring music spilling from St. George’s Chapel. Her spirit is everywhere here. Today I walked in honor of HM’s beautiful life. So many top moments to pick from on @goldenglobes weekend but this one might be one of my better shots. I’ve known @zendaya for a bit but to see her in full movie-star mode was pretty cool. 📸 😍 To the incredible @wwd team I say a huge thank you for so much hard work to pull off the first-ever @wwd Style Awards and not one, but two major stops on the @goldenglobes carpet!! A wild, exciting and dramatic weekend spent putting a serious fashion spin on Hollywood’s big night. A huge thank you to @dcp and @helen.hoehne and the Globes team and everyone at @penskemedia who helped along the way!
