808P.M on 1/16/26 you said bye. You were my big brother for roughly 30 years . The advice you gave me about life will never be forgotten. The amount of things we talked about turned me into a man and if I ever had a question about anything you were always there and had an answer. When I told my parents you were sick they said YOU were my BIG BROTHER. They also told me to give you a hug and say that they love you. Sometimes you have friends and sometimes you have a friend that turns into family. I love you BIG BROTHER. by @michael_c_cottle

First. 🧡In the spirit of mutual aid - especially relevant this week while many of our neighbors return to the electrical grid - we’re excited to partner with @michael_c_cottle to debut the @littleorangebox_ at Trace Echo.How’s it work? Super simple.Need something? Take something.Have extra of something? Leave something.As of this morning (Thursday, May 1) non-perishable goods are stocked and the box remains unlocked and outside. Open the sliding doors and take a peek.This is our first time trying something like this so listening will be key. Our goal is to introduce items that make sense and restock using feedback we gather from the community.We’d be remiss not to mention that @uptownpartners already facilitates a totally free grocery and produce distribution (1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month) just a couple blocks from us at 1518 Forbes Ave.Folks should head there for fresh, healthy food. The @littleorangebox_ at Trace Echo will focus on items that are shelf stable. When I started @cottlebuilt Ronnie helped me a lot with ideas on how to help build the business outside of the bicycle world. The Roots Collaboration Series was one of the ideas he had. It was combining the bicycle and beer world together. Ronnie allowing me to use the name Roots for the collaboration means the world to me since the 1st Roots jam was at my parents bike shop in 1997 .🚲🤝🍻 by @michael_c_cottle
