This is the ACTIVITIES that you should have done when you're in Nongkhiaw, it's the most COMPLETED activity. If you're one of the nature seekers, Trekking lovers nature lovers , I highly recommend this activity
But you have to be fit and patient to finish fhis activity
It takes quite lots of time and energy....and if you're still one of them, i warmly welcome you and your team joining to experience this together. Let's don't miss it!!

The Overnight Camping
. The tour start at 2:00-2:30 pm at the office.
Take slowboat go upstream for 10 mins to Hadsao village and then start the trek through the village, follow along the small upstream , start hiking at some point, continue through all the way to campsite, continue the hike about 35 mins, carry on the Trek through bamboo forest for 25-30 mins before reaching the big road and from there it's only 20 mins to go to the mountain top which is way much easier but still a bit of hiking.
Reaching to the top around 4:50-5:10 pm.
💥Evening Activities:
✍🏻 Enjoy the Sunset since 5:20-6:00pm
✍🏻 Sitting around, Enjoy the big campfire 🔥
✍🏻 Dinner serve at 6:50-7:00
✍🏻Have small talks & Sharing experiences.
Get to know each others better.
✍🏻Have some drinks and enjoy the moment.
💥Morning Activities
👉🏻Wake up time is around 5:50-5:50 am
👉🏻 Coffee/Tea serve from 6:20-7:00 am
👉🏻 Breakfast will be served right after tea and coffee ☕.

*Blue Lagoon 3 in Vang Vieng* is the furthest and usually called the most scenic + fun one of the 3 main lagoons 😊
*What to do there*
- *Swim + relax*: Shaded seating areas right by the water, bamboo platforms, and old trees over the surface
- *Adventure stuff*: There’s an elevated tower with a rope swing, flying fox/zipline, and diving/jumping platform. Also 2 floating bamboo platforms and a zipline where you jump off mid-lagoon. People call it "the most fun" lagoon because of all the swings and balancing beams
- *Explore*: Trails go up the cliff face to small caves and viewpoints. There’s also bamboo rafting
- *Food*: Small restaurant, covered seating, restrooms, showers, and vendors selling snacks + beer.
I highly recommend this. Lots of fun 😊

Doing Kayaking in Nongkhiaw/Vang Vieng
Both gives you different vibes, beautiful, but different.
>Vang Vieng kayaking on the Nam Song River is famous for tubing, party bars, and hundreds of tourists. It's fun, loud, and social.
>Nong Khiaw kayaking on the Nam Ou River is different. It's wild, quiet, and authentic. Here in northern Laos, the limestone mountains come right down to the water. You will not see beer bars.

Tam Khao — ตำข้าว!* ຕຳເຂົ້າ🌾

Pounding the husk out of sticky rice — the old Lao way!

You put the harvested rice in the big wooden *khok* (mortar) and use the long heavy *saak* (pestle) —
pounding to knock the husk off, then winnow it in the *dong* basket to blow the husk away!

This is super authentic Lao village experience —
