Did this as a try out for iPhone 18 pro max video capabilities, this has marked the day I got my dream camera: one can be small enough to put into your pocket, also has log capabilities, also has professional controls, and is very easy to turn on and be ready to shoot.
Well most importantly, it’s something I carry every day everywhere.

To the Perseids 🌠

I first came to know of you in 2016.
Ten years later, this is the fourth time I’ve come to see you.

The first time, I was still a boy, my childhood friends were with me, we laughed at ourselves for being hopelessly single. I stood on the hill behind my grandma’s house, convincing myself I had seen you through the city lights.

The second time, I was a grownup already, I saw a fireball for the first time in my life, yet I was busy capturing it through a lens and a screen.

The third time, I had someone I loved beside me, and I found myself looking less at the sky and more at her, hoping she was well, wanting to show her your beauty.

And tonight, I came alone.

My life is a little lost these days. I sat in the car for a long time, tired from the weight of this past year, almost talking myself out of coming.

But somehow, I pressed start on the navigation.

And it felt a little like fate.

No matter how uncertain I was, the car knew only one thing: to keep moving toward the destination.

So I did too.

As the city lights disappeared behind me, the road grew darker. I had barely prepared—only a jacket for the cold, I did bring my camera but left the memory cards at home.

Maybe that was fitting.

I couldn’t see much of the road ahead in life either.

At the mountain, headlights blinded me until the last car finally passed.

Then everything went dark.

I couldn’t see my feet.
I couldn’t see what was beside me.

Until I looked up—

A sky overflowing with stars, and the Milky Way stretched across the night. 🌌

And suddenly, it was all worth it.

I lay beneath the stars, and then a meteor crossed the center of the sky, trailing a green light long enough to span several constellations.

And as it fell,
my tears fell with it.

Hello.
We meet again.

I saw more than twenty meteors that night. And just before I left, after countless failed attempts, my phone somehow caught one at the exact moment I pressed the shutter. (P1)

That was enough.

Somewhere inside me, something quietly felt complete.

Until next time, Perseids.

Look at the stars, look how they shine for you. by @michael_limer

“Every house where love has been stays haunted by it.”

Boarded windows, broken doors—through the gaps, we catch glimpses of what remains of an old coffee shop.
They say it’s nearly a hundred years old. It still stands, carrying the essence of what it once was, now home to a small black cat.
An old lady used to own it. Countless people once shared their laughter, their tears, or simply let their days drift by here.
Now it’s going to be demolished.
I’m grateful I had the chance to photograph it.
I hope it will be remembered by those who once spent their time here—just as it will remain in mine.

“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”

Always been treating photography as a serious practice, it’s gotta have good content, framing, color, gotta have some sort of value for it to be worthy for a photo, until recently I’m finally able to enjoy the pure process of documenting moments in my life. Every moment is precious, especially after it has passed. It all came from finding a long forgotten SD Card, going through it brought back so much memories and feelings even from the blurry pictures. It reminded me why I took every photo, and how much I loved every single moment.

Met in silence, understood without words, left unbothered. A respectful, beautiful distance between people’s minds.
